Last fucking batter blows it, lol
  • Midstate01
Wow 26 up and 26 down and then a guy lines one right through darvish's legs for hit. Crazy.

11th time a perfect game was ruined by the 27th batter.

So, we still saw history. Even rarer than a perfect game.

Have a feeling the astros will have a lot of these games.

Anyone having problems with the PS3 app for MLBtv? I can't access anything but last year's schedule.

speaking of the Astros, I saw Alex White will be examined by James Andrews.

Betcha fw would still love to have him

I remember reading an article saying how only a few have came back to have a good career after having the same injury he had while he was an Indian. I see the trade as a wash anyway. All 3 players have done nothing

I agree, but a wash is still a significantly better outcome than the one the omniprescient footwedge predicted haha

Just looked at the Det-Minn box score (currently in 6th inning or so). Saw that apparently, not only is Kevin Correia in the Minn rotation, but he must be their #2 starter.

Poor, poor Minnesota. I'll raise a beer to those days you were relevant.

Gonna be tough for Sanchez to win 20 if Coke remains the closer.

That was one of my 2 thoughts. The other being CarGo. But I have no idea how much he steals.

Yep BJ. Couple more than Stubbs in both if i remember correctly. it was the trivia question during the Braves game.

No idea how that Heyward HR made it out of there

yeah horrible job by the right fielder there knowing where he was. probably wouldn't have had to jump, just not back himself into the wall.

also in that game, Evan Gattis hit his first career HR in his MLB debut, while his dad was getting interviewed on TV during the at bat. He has a pretty crazy story, was out of baseball for 4 or 5 years working as a custodian, a ski lift operator, and at a pizza place. http://blogs.ajc.com/atlanta-braves-blog/2012/02/29/braves-slugger-gattis-has-a-story-man-does-he-ever/

Nothing like trying to make a positive for a player and then being coupled with Stubbs.

Chip and Joe couldn't believe it when Stubbs was revealed as the answer. One guessed Braun and the other couldn't even come up with a name.
  • Terry_Tate
I figured Stubbs was an answer but that's only because he's my second favorite player, haha. Wasn't sure if he had 50 home runs though.
