Evgeni Malkin will win the Art Ross, Hart, and Lindsay again. He's been on fire in the KHL (31 points in the past 11 games, 62 points in 36 games overall). Crosby will unleash hell on the league as well. It'll come down to either the Pens or Rangers winning the cup. -

The thing is this......they will still have the full playoffs. It is not like they are gonna cut down the teams in the playoffs so ya have less games/series to win for The Cup. If they did that then yeah, I could say it would be compromised/. -

I actually wouldn't mind if a shorter season was the norm. I expect the playoffs to be awesome since there should be less injured players going in. I'm just bitter about the entire situation.
