As I said before, franchise QB's (unless they are injured ala Drew Brees) don't hit the market in free agency and certainly don't get benched.
    Offer 25 mil a year to Flacco...lulz

I get the "lulz" but Flacco isn't hitting the market. If he somehow pulls off a Super Bowl win his bargaining chip just got a lot bigger. He's the winningest QB, on the road, in NFL history.

Yeah, I just read where he will command 20 mil with a super bowl win....insane to me

Doubt he gets it. He sees himself as a top 5/elite QB where the rest of the world sees the truth.

I'd seriously laugh in his face if I was the Ravens front office and he asked for 20mil a year.

Newsome isn't dumb enough to give him that kind of money. Baltimore may see him as a franchise QB but he's not top 5.

i think he is def a solid franchise qb, but he is not even close to top 5. That is why the money he wants is so crazy to me.

I just remember around draft time me and a few other guys on here liked Wilson and looks like we were right about him and BR and COA were definitely wrong about Wilson and him being a 3rd string QB and a career backup.

He had a good season for sure, probably being stubbon but still not a believer. Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong on a player (AP, Robert Gallery) and probably wont be the last.

Yep, I was off on that for sure. Wilson looks like he could have the better career than RGIII. Poised, can find the throwing lanes at his height and knows when to slide and not take a hit, unlike Griffin. I say this because his career will likely be longer than Griffin's. I'll be surprised if Griffin's the same after this knee issue.

I could very well be wrong on Weeden too but I'm not giving up on that until I see him function in the proper offense.

Honest question: Does anyone on here know anyone that works for the Browns organization?

Ozzie Newsome wrote on the editorial page of the Plain Dealer why he wants Art Modell in the Hall of Fame.

Brent Sobleski ‏@brentsobleski While pass rush & CB are teams top needs, don't rule out S.Lotulelei as an legitimate option at No. 6 for Browns. Especially in 3-man fronts

Grossi just tweeted that Browns will probably have new QB in 2013 either by trade or Free Agency after speaking to Haslam. Take it with a grain of salt.

A new starting QB? Or just a new QB on the roster?
