Duh. I'm retarded. No, they can't talk to him because they are playing. -
ytownfootballKnow little of Marrone but I would be hesitant to judge his abilities based on time at the Cuse...not exactly a hot bed for talent.

I am actually offended that I am going to be replaced by someone worse than me. Didn't think that was possible. -
shook_17Philly inquirer reporting Kelly to make decision tonight on NFL team tonight or go back to Oregon. At this point I want to say fuck off chip. Give me Arians, chip playing these games. GFYS
-
ts1227LOL at the 5 year/$65M rumor floating around about the Eagles and Kelly. The richest contract for a coach is $8M/yr, no way anyone offers Kelly anywhere close to that, let alone 60% more.

The guy doesn't have a right to think about what job he wants to take? It is kind of a big deal. -
wes_mantoothBREAKING: @CBSSPORTS HAS CONFIRMED Chip Kelly has agreed to a 5 year $65 million deal with the #Eagles. #Browns to pursue Marrone.

I knew it was too good to be true. He just used us as leverage, just like everyone else.wes_mantooth;1358721 wrote:BREAKING: @CBSSPORTS HAS CONFIRMED Chip Kelly has agreed to a 5 year $65 million deal with the #Eagles. #Browns to pursue Marrone. -
bases_loaded13 mill a year?
-
shook_1713 million a year. That's just crazy
-
ts1227If you're on Twtter, you'll notice people are generally retweeting that from a FAKE Solomon Wilcots (CBS Sports) account.
He may end up agreeing with the Eagles, but I'll give up my mod title if it's for $13M/yr. -
wes_mantoothWell, that was a Mary Kay retweet and goldhammer is saying it was a fake account....lol.
-
shook_17Lol yup. Fake account

Playing games? He's getting the best deal like any smart person would. -

BREAKING! BREAKING! Jimmy Haslam is now offering free gas and coffee at Pilot/Flying J to Chip Kelly. #Gamechanger. -
Pick6Ugh looks like the Cleveland loses out again. Said a few pages back that I could see him choosing the Eagles over Browns. Not sure who I want.

Flying J is solid. Love their breakfast buffet. -
Commander of AwesomeI hope Kelly goes to the Eagles. Not sure why ppl would be upset. 4 yrs at oregon, no NFL exp.

Pick6
Who do you want that is a realistic candidate?Commander of Awesome;1358783 wrote:I hope Kelly goes to the Eagles. Not sure why ppl would be upset. 4 yrs at oregon, no NFL exp.
I would pull for Arians for sure.
The reason I want Kelly is that he has shown that wherever he has been, regardless of the talent he has around him, he makes it work. He isnt necessarily set on a certain system. Also the fact that he had Belicheck, who already had a juggernaut of an offense, come to him for advice speaks volumes to me. Marrone or whatever his name is? Cool, he was a good OC. As far as Im concerned, a .500 record in the Big East as a HC is shit to me. I think I would rather have a proven HC regardless of what level they are coming from, than a coordinator who has no HC experience. -
RotinajSorry don't want a .500 college head coach just because he was a good OC for the fucking saints. I could call plays for them and they'd score 28ppg.
-
GoChiefsMarrone to the Bills, per ESPN.

jordo212000Lovie Smith or Bruce Arians would be where I go.
Personally I'd take Lovie first, but I think either would be better than Marrone. And maybe even Chip Kelly -

Another first, agreeing with jordo.jordo212000;1358834 wrote:Lovie Smith or Bruce Arians would be where I go.

chippy10I knew this would happen. Haslam is an SEC guy so on tuesday he will interview Nick Saban and give him what ever he wants if he turns us down, then we will go the route with Airens. It's a win win situation as I like both coaches and with personal either would fit fine.
