Oh, I hope you didn't think I was implying you make that bet. I'll gladly stick my neck out on the line for that bet.

I've been saying it since last year...this team's going to shock the shit out of the league this year. I called playoffs last year (for the 2013-2014 team) and I'm sticking to it. These young guys are gonna gel and it's going to be 2007 all over again except this time playoffs. Norv & Horton are going to get the most out of these guys that they can and they're gonna sneak up on people. I don't make brash comments like this (that's Durkie's department ;) ) unless I'm confident (which I'm usually not with the Browns).

Brent Sobleski ‏@brentsobleski 3s Surprised to see how polished 6th rnd rook A.Bryant already looked. Very quick off snap & very good hands. Rare among small school products

Reps to you for sticking to your guns BR, but it is still the Browns and they could easily win less than 6. I like having you post around here, so don't take that bet lol.

Speaking of durkie, is he really quitting the OC for life? Not the same without durkie talking about how the Browns are gonna win every game.

    Lifetime ban bets are ridiculous
...besides my thousands of OC fans would miss me if somehow Cleveburg were able to pull a miracle put of their ass...the bet remains 30 days Sparky, take it or leave it - I really don't care either way.

They will EASILY win 6 games. They will also go, at a minimum, 3-3 in the division.

Tiernan I will make the bet with you.

If the Browns win more than 6 games you are gone for 30 days. If they win less than 6 games I will leave for leave 30 days. If they win exactly 6 then we both stay.

    Deal?

Like you said, "Big Spender." I'm ALL in.....lifetime or nothing. Thirty days, for me, is a blink of an eye. I couldn't care less whether I get on here or not.

Not really sure why such confidence in this team to win more than 6. I'm saying 8 because that's my optimistic pre season prediction. But I wouldn't be making any bets on it. The browns could be very, very bad this year.
  • Pick6
I really like the addition of Bess and Nelson. They finally have a decent receiving corp to work with. Scrubs like Norwood wont be getting much snaps and Little and Gordon should take a nice step forward, along with Weeden. I mean, he cant be any worse than last season. Cameron should be a great fit in a Norv Turner offense. Kellen Davis doesnt hurt, either.

A lot of fresh blood in the organization. Even if Richardson goes down a few games, I really like Dion Lewis, and there would still be a decent back up to him in Brandon Jackson.

Should be an entertaining year in the division, being that I think all of the teams are really close in talent. I think the Bengals are the frontrunners at this point, though.

Da fuq? I offered the same bet except 2 and 3 months with no middle ground.

Get outta here trying to steal my banishment of tiernan lol

9-10 games is my optimistic prediction at this point. That could go up or down before the season starts depending on injuries and how well they play.
  • Tiernan
I'm in with all you mofos for less than 6 wins.

    Such a sad little man.

Its funny that this fuck can come in this thread talk shit. but if Durkie says go fuck yourself. he gets the ban. Makes sense though.

I loved how fast our defense was last night. Im going to the game Thursday night. Anybody else?
  • Go4alOngbOmB
I liked how our defense flew to the ball. We still seemed a little weak to me in the middle. Seemed like those 1st and second down runs on that second series were getting the 4-5 years most offensive coordinators want.

I made it a point to watch Mingo on most of the snaps that he played Thursday night. He may not have had a highlight reel kind of night, but that kid has a MOTOR on him. He was scrapping and fighting, getting knocked down and instantly back to his feet. He was in there for almost 3 quarters and never let up one bit. I REALLY like what I see out of him. Guys who go at the game like that become leaders, and this team needs them!

Also, I felt that the team as a whole was very in sync with one another on the field. I remember on multiple occasions in the past (insert number here) years that it looked like pure chaos out there in the pre (and even in the regular) season. I didn't see that from out 1st and second team. Even when we broke the huddle on offense late, we got up there, read the D and snapped the ball.

I know it's only the 1st pre-season game. It's the most vanilla defense we will see all season etc etc. But I really like what I saw in an offense lacking Richardson.

Okay. More than 6 wins it's one month from Turtles, 2 months from me, and lifetime from BR. So if Browns win 7, you're permanently gone. If they win 6, it's 2 from me. If they win less than 6, I'm gone for 3 months, Turtle 1, BR lifetime.

You've already accepted, so this post is to clarify the bet.
  • Tiernan
I didn't accept anything yet except the invite from your wife. It's 30 days period from each of you or GFYs and enjoy another mediocre Clowns season.

No one respond to this clown.

It's not like he'd honor the bet anyways.

It must suck being that old and having no life.
  • lhslep134
Uh Tiernan you said you're in. Sounds like you're gone when the Browns win 7 games.
