Hoops made a thread in the basement awhile back regarding it. Lolfail on SE. -

If you forward those convos to justin, it would help to figure out what can be done better.Commander of Awesome;1357659 wrote:Members saying that they're leaving/not posting because of the shitty modding around here. Open you eyes SE, you guys suck. Also PM convos. -

So he made a thread, but didn't really leave?like_that;1357660 wrote:Hoops made a thread in the basement awhile back regarding it. Lolfail on SE. -

He left for a bit, and his post count has gone down significantly. Especially in Cleveland threads. DW hardly posts anymore, and he was paired with hoops when they both got banned for no reason. Anyway do yourself a favor and infract yourself or thread ban yourself, because this will now be my third attempt to get this thread back on track. Either STFU and talk about the Browns or GTFO. Thanks.se-alum;1357662 wrote:So he made a thread, but didn't really leave?
As I said earlier, do you guys think the Browns will still wait and true to lure Saban? I think Saban is saying now right now, because he is focused on winning the national title. I think he will listen once he is done with the game. -
shook_17You guys are nothing but big bullies. keep the scumbags out of OUR thread.
Now back on track after our shit got hijacked. I do as well think Saban will get a "business meeting" with Jimmy down in bama after the championship game. The meeting will be short and sweet.
Jimmy. When do you want to start and you put the decimal where you want on your check
Nick. Sounds good Jimmy where do i sign. -

I doubt it will be that easy. There will be some convincing that needs to be done, and I think Haslam can do it.shook_17;1357665 wrote:You guys are nothing but big bullies. keep the scumbags out of OUR thread.

shook_17A man can wish. I'd take Saban over Kelly in a HEARTBEAT.

I like Saban a bit, though his age worries me.like_that;1357664 wrote:He left for a bit, and his post count has gone down significantly. Especially in Cleveland threads. AutomatikAgain, I doubt Saban leaves for Cleveland, but everyone has a price. I know he said he's staying, but with so many vacancies in the NFL he would be stupid not to at least listen.
Kelly talked with Buffalo today and I haven't heard anything else regarding other teams besides Cleveland. From everything I've heard/read he's the front runner now.
New owner, first time NFL coach, different system, young team. People said Haslam may want to make a "splash"....this could be it.
Hypothetically, if Kelly is the hire, what will become of Weeden? Give him another go around? Or start thinking of the next move at QB? -
shook_17^^ if Kelly is the HC for the Browns i bet Weeden is out, and they will make due with what they have and target a QB either this year or wait til next.

Not sure why you keep saying that. Other than the Chicago job, as a coach I think the Browns and Eagles job would be the most enticing. Coaches aren't like the prima donna players where they need to choose a super city to live in.Automatik;1357671 wrote:Again, I doubt Saban leaves for Cleveland, but everyone has a price. shook_17Mary Kay is reporting Haslam and Banner want to "lock down" Kelly before he leaves and go else where.

Thanks so much.
Kelly would be a scary investment and I can't say I trust the guy either....but I would almost guarantee he would improve the offensive side a decent bit. Of course he's loaded with some of the best athletes and whatever job he takes he will maybe be on the lower end of the athletes and will be tougher to do what he does.
Belichick uses a quick and creative offense and of course they have great players to execute....but they did quite well with Cassell and no Gron.
Kelly's silly speed offense has kept ahead of most defensive plans to slow it down. To me he's creative and smart enough to at worst give teams fits trying to plan and all the while he keeps tinkering and adjusting himself.
I'm not saying he'd be my first choice by any means....but I'd take him over any retread. -

Don't forget SD. I think all would be more attractive to Saban. The one thing Cleveland does have over the others is a brand new, hungry owner, and I'm sure he's ready to write a fatass check.like_that;1357675 wrote:Not sure why you keep saying that. No one comes on this thread other than browns fans and trolls...if we call a troll a "bad name" who cares? It'll just eliminate the problem: trolls.
Do you guys (any of you) think I'm trolling? Even I get bored talking to myself on Steelers' threads. I like to keep up with what's going on within this site. -

No I don't think you troll..I just think you post about shit that the normal human being wouldn't give two shits about lol (see:Charlotte bobcats)Ironman92;1357685 wrote:Do you guys (any of you) think I'm trolling? AutomatikWhat, you don't like the nightly Byron Mullens updates?
-
wes_mantoothI really have a feeling that they are going to offer Kelly too much money so he doesn't leave town. God, I hope this works.
-
AutomatikOregon offering him more?
I'd venture to say he's 100% out. Oregon will most likely be feeling the wrath of the NCAA soon.
One of my coworkers operates out of Keizer, OR. He says they have pretty much accepted that he's moving on and are already talking replacements. -

I'm not sure Saban is attainable. UA has to be one of the upper echelon coaching jobs and the success he's at now....
But the factor that gives the Browns hope would be Saban himself....he's got all the money he needs, been there and done everything in college, but no success in the NFL. I think he's got 10 good years of coaching in him. Prospering in the NFL could be what his competitive nature takes him to.
As for the open vacancies....
1. Chicago
2. San Diego
3. Cleveland
4. Philly
These are the four best....Cleveland and Chicago have great support. SD has the QB, nice receivers and shitty division. The safest bet for a coach would be SD....but the biggest gain would happen in Cleveland. Imagine where you'd rank taking Cleveland, getting them over the hump and eventually winning it all. Elite GOAT status. -
SportsAndLadyWe have a good defense that is only going to get better, potentially stud WR and RB, great oline. Not sure what else you need in a team that has a coaching vacancy? I guess a QB. But new coaches will probably want their own guy in there.
I could be biased but with the new energetic owner I'd think that Cleveland is a pretty enticing destination for a coach. -
shook_17Browns are three hours into interview with Kelly. Eagles get permission to Tom to arians and gusely DC from Seattle. Interesting

The difference is, other teams have proven stars, not potential stars. The Bears are a few o-linemen away from being very good. Eagles, Chiefs, and Cardinals all have more talent than the Browns, and are fewer pieces away.SportsAndLady;1357707 wrote:We have a good defense that is only going to get better, potentially stud WR and RB, great oline.
