Rotinaj11 is the cutoff.

Heretic
What if the person with said arm is more a breaking ball pitcher who has a mid/high 80s fastball? WHAT IS THE FORMULA FOR THIS?!?!?justincredible;1336940 wrote:Is the human arm made to throw a ball 90+MPH 90 times, 32 times a year? How about 85 times? What's the magic cutoff number? -

Guessing it was done a couple days ago but wanted something to add some hype to redsfest.
Good to hear though -
mhs95_06Tom Groeschen says:
STUBBS ADJUSTS: Drew Stubbs knows that many of his batting statistics have dropped steadily over the past three years, so the Reds center fielder is making adjustments.
Stubbs is experimenting with a shorter stride. Stubbs said he has been working with Reds minor league hitting coordinator Ronnie Ortegon at Stubbs’ offseason home in Texas, where Ortegon also lives.
“They talked a lot in the postseason about Austin Jackson of the Tigers, going from more of a leg kick to a toe tap,” Stubbs said Friday. “We’ve been tinkering with that a little bit. Obviously the longer your foot’s in the air, the more room for error you have.”
I'm betting the Reds are not going to acquire a CF, giving Stubbs one more chance in 2013, and if his adjustments don't work out, give Hamilton a chance to show what he can do in CF. -
se-alumI don't think I can handle another year of Stubbs.

Likewise -
se-alumI mean, he's done nothing to improve throughout his years of pro ball, so I can't imagine this year being any different.

justincredibleStubbs can piss off. If they are going to go with Stubbs in 2013 they better find a guy to platoon with him that can hit RHP.

swamisezReds and Indians talking trade for Shin Soo Choo.
He owns GABP or more specifically Bronson Arroyo. What could we expect Choo to do for the Reds, also who gets sent over? Bailey? -

Azubuike24The discussions with Choo at the trade deadline was for CF as well. He's started 10 career games in CF...

thavoiceI usually am not quick to give up on a player. Over the past few years when people were hammering on Homer I always would bring up that he has great stuff, and if you look at his stats he was pretty much improving each year.
The same cannot be said about stubbs. He had a very good year a couple of years ago but has regressed the last two. You can see he has talent and could possibly be a good player, but as Tracey Jones would say just look at the back of his baseball card. He struck out in the minors, and he strikes at the big league level and jsut doesnt hit well enough. I was all for keeping him in CF this last year mostly because I didnt want the reds to make a dumb trade and the fact that if he could just put the ball in play a bit more he could be a big time asset. Also ya had Hamilton starting to come along. Some dufusses wanted them to bring Hamilton up to play CF in the postseason for the reds without him even having any OF experience. Ya go with the team that got you 97 wins.
Now that Hamilton is learning the position and will have all ST next year I think the reds need to keep stubbs. For now. If he starts out slow, and if Hamilton continues his good play then bring him on up. -
wildcats20Granted there isn't a ton of room at GABP, just don't know what is range is really like.
I like Choo and I for sure would welcome him in Cincy. -
Commander of Awesomegregorious any good?

he was basically a center fielder playing right because of the strength of his armwildcats20;1340629 wrote:Granted there isn't a ton of room at GABP, just don't know what is range is really like.

This. Choo has a crazy strong arm. One of the best in the majors -
like_thatChoo would be hell of an addition for Cincy imo. He would have no pressure as he wouldn't be the main guy in the order. Also he would be playing against NL pitching staffs. I feel like the Indians (per usual) are getting trade raped here. I don't want fucking Stubbs. I know nothing about Gregorious though. Any of you guys care provide his evaluation?

Here's his minor league stats. He's a SS, so i'm not real sure why he would be a need for the Indians. Slick fielder with a rocket arm.Commander of Awesome;1340630 wrote:gregorious any good?

se-alumSounds like the D-backs are involved, and that's where Didi would end up. Was wondering why the Tribe would need Didi with Cabrera and Kipnis already up the middle.
