Not all. There were debates regarding the matter though. It was either, team "TT was a bad pick," or team "TT is still very young, LOL at throwing him under the bus already."robj55;1377676 wrote:Weren't most Cavs fans bashing TT earlier this year when he wasn't productive saying that he wasn't what they though he was gonna be? I remember earlier in the year on this site, fans were calling for his head and saying he was horrible and had no offensive game, or grasp on the game at all really. I agree he has potential and thats part of the reason (along with the fact there wasnt much to choose from) was why he was drafted top 5. I just was kinda surprised to see him mentioned with AS potential is allmucalum49;1377671 wrote:TT is playing great for the year at 11/9 and as mentioned about 15/11 for the month. I know you aren't the biggest Cavs fan but if you saw earlier this season he was downright terrible. RCF was blowing up calling him a bust amongst other choice names.
However he's really turned it on as of late. He's a smart/athletic player that is starting to develop an offensive game. But a major knock on TT was he was weak. Plays like the rebound and dunk yesterday (link below) shows me he's learning and getting stronger. At only 21 he's still got room to grow and you can definitely see he's developing this year.
Pair him with an Alex Len or Isaiah Austin and I think that can be a deadly combo. Their ability to shoot from 18 feet will keep center's from playing off of them. And then TT will have an open lane to take his guy off the dribble and drive to the lane. Their play would complement each other very well.

Yes, until Andy went out he was playing miserably. Then a light bulb went on and he's starting to put it together.robj55;1377676 wrote:Weren't most Cavs fans bashing TT earlier this year when he wasn't productive saying that he wasn't what they though he was gonna be? Or am I imagining that? -

I haven't seen him play in months so I can't really comment or try to make any type of evaluation.like_that;1377679 wrote:Not all. There were debates regarding the matter though. It was either, team "TT was a bad pick," or team "TT is still very young, LOL at throwing him under the bus already." -

Some of us have said all along he was a good pick and with experience will pick it up. Soon as he's been "the man" (aka soon as Varejao went down), he's been phenomenal. -

Yeah, HB posts on the cavs thread all the time, so he knows what he is talking about. :rolleyes:SportsAndLady;1377699 wrote:Certain fans were..don't group us all in on that.

Always brings the lulz when posters try to group everyone into one category. There is a reason there was discussion. As I said earlier, some guy were throwing TT under the bus, but some guys like me were saying how ridiculous it was to throw him under the bus when he is just 21 years old. -

Wasnt meaning to group you all together, but there def were some of you that were unhappy to say the least with him was what I was getting at.SportsAndLady;1377699 wrote:Certain fans were..don't group us all in on that.

I thought he sucked last year. He's really grown as a player and I'm now excited to see what he develops into.robj55;1377676 wrote:Weren't most Cavs fans bashing TT earlier this year when he wasn't productive saying that he wasn't what they though he was gonna be? Or am I imagining that? -

Because some fans were unhappy with him, that means he probably won't be an all star in the future? -

SMH at cavs losing to GSW last night missing their top players. Missed the game, anyone know why Klay Thompson went off? -

Because our defense leaves a lot to be desired. Also, it is probably worth noting Kyrie was sick. Shouldnt have been playing.Commander of Awesome;1377798 wrote:Good glad you're done. We can finally get back on topic.
