Either way, NJ isn't a title contender. They need a lot more depth. I do think this team could be better than JJ's ATL squads though.
    OK, I misunderstood lol

Yeah I definitely think they will be better than the ATL teams. But still in that same "level" of teams.

    NJ is running the treadmill.

Atlanta should give Ferry an extension right now. Got Devin Harris' expiring deal, got rid of the worst contract ever and put Atlanta in a position to get Dwight and CP3. Dwight is very good friends with Josh Smith and Randolph, and in today's pussified nba we all know how the great players wanna play together.

Hawks buying out Farmar as soon as the deal is official

I don't think NJ is out of the running for Dwight just yet.

    It won't be this offseason.

    I should add...IMO.

    And it's Brooklyn lol.

So what's everyone's official Dwight prediction?

I don't really think he'll end up there, but a lot of posts here are acting like it would be impossible to even attempt after the JJ deal. I think they'll still make a run at him.

Broussard was just on Mike and Mike. Nets and Magic in talks about a DH trade

Lopez, Humphries, Brooks and 3 1st round picks for Howard
  • Commander of Awesome
Lopez can't stay healthy, Humpries is alright, and Brooks is a rookie with some promise but needs to take better shots. Its basically Howard for 3 1st, a role player, a rookie with some upside, and a player that will give you 30 games a year. Magic should have traded him last season.
  • SportsAndLady
No one wants Howard except for Brooklyn cuz its their first year there and they gotta make a splash. They would have gotten double if they would have pulled the trigger last year. SMH

    Celtics have signed Jason Terry.

I don't know what is going on with Ray Allen, but he is no longer needed.

I'd take Allen over Terry any day.

And Landry Fields looks to be headed to Toronto.

C's still want Ray Allen.. Hearing they would be offering a 2-Yr $12M deal. I don't know if Bradley will be ready by the start of the season, So Ray would be starting & that's really all he wants.

If I was Boston, I'd probably take Terry over Allen because it seems as if Allen/Rondo have a damaged relationship and really who is going to help you more in the long run? Rondo, obviously. If they can get both that would be great for the C's. From an outsider's POV they still need a veteran post player.

    PG-Rondo/Terry
    SG-(Allen?)/Bradley/Pietrus(?)
    SF-Pierce/Green(?)
    PF-Bass/Sullenger
    C-Garnett/Melo

Half of their team from last year is a UFA so they might have a large turnover.

    AAAAAAALLLLLLLLSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO

If Daivd Stern allows the proposed trade of Howard to the Nets go through, he will NEVER recover from it. It is such a bad, bad trade. 23847293847239847983274982374982374982374983274 times worse than the CP3 trade to LA.

He will want to be traded to every team at some point in the season. I think he ends up with the Clippers, Hawks or Mavs.

    What is the proposed trade?

Brook Lopez, Marshon Brooks, Kris Humphries and three future first round picks.

Humphries and Lopez combine for 34 and 20, and Brooks averaged 13 last year in his rookie season. Plus the Nets just traded 5 players and a first rounder for Johnson.

He won't get traded this off season, thus leading to everyone on ESPN masturbating in each other's mouths, because they will have the opportunity to discuss all season which jersey Dwight will be wearing by the deadline/next season.

Looks like the Magic are focused on getting Andrew Bynum.

Lakers offering Bynum and Metta World Peace. LA would probably have to take Richardson or Hedo.
