    And fuck Dwight. Keep Bynum...

Dwight doesn't want to play in LA because he doesn't want to be accused of following in Shaq's footsteps.
I'm seeing that Howard has said he has wanted to play with Nash for a long time.

And Howard's one team was New Jersey... Then it was the Mavs... Then he would be ok with staying with the Magic for another year...

    Dude is a joke.

I don't think I would want Howard on my team at this point. Dude is a POS

Also, I'm pumped for Kendall. Ready to ball out in the desert.

Brown is a great coach, but his system doesn't fit with Nash

    He's a "GREAT" coach?

    Interesting.

    Dude is a joke.

Since you typed this, Howard has changed his mind again.

Win percentage of 66%, so yeaaah, he's a good coach

Now he's just a good coach?

Ohhh... So winning percentage is the only thing that matters? NVM the fact that he's walked into 2 GREAT jobs at the time. Funny you weren't singing the "great" tune while he was in Cleveland, IIRC.

And is he great or good?
  • wildcats20
Soooooo apparently Nash will be trying to get Grant Hill to come to LA also....

If Gilbert / Ferry / Grant could have surrounded Lebron with more talent while he was in Cleveland, they would have won 2 titles. Surrounding Lebron with Jamison, Hughes and Shaq isn't getting it done.
  • wildcats20
Oh and it's Nash for 4 picks. I wonder if Stern will allow it....

Yeah, it's easy to do that. Talent just always makes itself available.

Not only that, but Mike Brown had Kobe, Pau, and Bynum... What did that get him?

Oh, and those were LeBron approved moves. The FO catered to him and learned a hard lesson. And Grant had nothing to do with those moves.

I like the potential pick up of Grant Hill too. He just had the same surgery Kobe had and he still plays at a high level. Somehow lol.

Grant Hill is still very good. He's a better version of Shane Battier right now because he can do more than spot up. His body is still probably younger than what his NBA years would indicate because of all the time missed.

Yes and he is a HUGE upgrade from Metta at the 3.

No doubt. More consistent and 1000x more stable mentally.

And at this point in their careers, equals on the defensive end.
  • wildcats20
    lol and it starts.

I've now seen 4 tweets talking about Kobe and Nash's age.
  • Trueblue23
If Dwight re-signs trade Bynum and whatever for him now. Magic have said Byum is their main target.

Also Steve Nash fits in any system... And Brown has no system. We're gonna see alot of pick and roll, Kobe post up, Nash making things happen.

I don't watch a ton of NBA, but there is just no way I believe Grant Hill is still very good. Unless you're talking like a solid 20-25 off the bench. Dude is almost 40, lol.

Not to be an ass, but you should have stopped after saying that.

I'm not expecting anything phenomenal out of Grant Hill, but 13 and 5 would be an instant upgrade from Metta.
  • Trueblue23
Howard's lack of offensive moves would be negated by Nash. Think Amare..

I hope the Lakers miss the playoffs. :)

But seriously, when I hear that Grant Hill is very good Im thinking at least 16 and 6. Then I look up his stats and he averaged 10.5 and 3.5 last year, which isn't bad at all given his age, just not what I would call very good. I don't doubt that there are a few stretches where he looks good and I know he has a high basketball IQ, I just thought the very good talk was Laker homerism.

And he's an instant upgrade over MWP just from the mental standpoint alone.
