That site would have blown up if they stayed in their respective franchises. I think Minnesota is a playoff team considering their good young talent and they have decent players already there. I think they're in the good group out west. It's the top group of Vancouver, LA, Chicago and then the good group of Nashville, St. Louis, Detroit, San Jose and now Minnesota

I hope they miss the playoffs. I will lol.

Dubinsky is one of those players that is better than the stat sheet indicates, I think he will do well in Columbus.

Rose colored glasses. He wasn't even that good in the AHL and has had one season over 50 points in the NHL. He's a streaky player who can go long periods of time without getting on the score sheet. When commentators say "he's a leader, a good locker room guy" what they're saying is he's average on the ice and they needed something nice to say about him. Dubinsky is a young, average player.

They still don't have much depth outside their top 2 lines, but man is that a nice 1, 2 punch.

That's a fair statement, he is admittedly a fan favorite so I might hold him in higher regard than others. Erixon is supposed to be a very good talent, so his future returns could dictate how this trade shakes out.

    Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!

Seems pretty ridiculous for the Preds. Aren't the first few years of the deal more than they make in a season right now? I mean, I'm happy that he's not in Philly 'cause fuck the Flyers, but from a business perspective I'm not sure the move makes sense.

He's their corner stone, they had to.

    Holy Overpayment!

Carolina sure blew their load for him.
  • gorocks99
Eh, a one-year deal though. They had the cap room, not a big risk for them.
