Don't listen to any "insider" they're usually full of shit.

How long is shortly?? lol. I'd be surprised if he signed anywhere today. He'll probably listen to all the offers and then decide after a day or two.

NHL Insider is retarded. He's worse than Eklund.

Methot gone to Ottawa for Nick Foligno.
Also the CBJ signed Aucoin for 1 year.

Ottawa fans are not happy about that lol.

Howson finally got the best of someone. Folgino will score 15-25 goals.

This Parise and Suter saga needs to end.

Suter and Parise to the Wild on identical 13 year deals.
  • TedSheckler
    Nash will get moved now.

Fail on me for believing an NHL insider on Twitter.

    $200 Million for 2 players?
And we wonder why the NHL may be locked out?

These 10+ year deals for millions is insane. There is no way the league can sustain itself doing this.

Yes it is. Now unfollow. Bet you follow Eklund too. Unfollow him while you're at it.

Crazy moves from the Wild. Selfishly I like to see a Minnesota team perform well in the NHL having grown up a North Stars fan (although I'm much more a CBJ fan now). This should at least make them competitive for the next 4-5 years .. but beyond that, yikes.

    Fire up the Nash talk!

They signed the 4th and 5th largest contracts in NHL history, only behind Ovechkin, Crosby, and Kovalchuk.

I also feel a lot better having Neal at 5mil for the next 6 years.

Dave Molinari ‏@MolinariPGColumbus Dispatch reports Pgh. is on Rick Nash's list of teams to which he would approve a trade. No evidence of strong Pgh. interest in him

    Oh sweet Jesus no.
  • TedSheckler
Rick Nash's "approved" list. NYR, Flyers, RedWings, Sharks, Penguins. Could be 1-2 others.

Not going to happen, but Bobby Ryan wants a trade out of Anaheim. A straight up trade Ryan for Nash would be a nice one. A man can dream.

But, hopefully, wherever Nash goes, the Jackets can get a good deal out of it. Just don't be the Wings....
In addition to those teams above, I've heard the Sharks are making a play.
  • TedSheckler
I think the CBJ can get Ryan for Johanson and a top prospect.

    I hope you are correct.

Detroit may make a strong push at Nash. Have tons of money and Illitch loves star players (ex. Fielder, Cabrera, Pudge). Wings will probably get Semin, Carle and maybe a trade for Yandle. Defense looks like it may be weak but good young prospects
  • TedSheckler
Carle went to TB last night. If Howson deals Nash to Detroit, he better make it rain with players returning.

Waste of money - NO WAY is suter worth 100m and neither is Parise. I still think Minny misses the playoffs.

Oh btw, I just realized I called Suter and Parise going to Minnesota on HFboards.

As for Suter, I've said it all along, he's going to sign in Minnesota and Parise is going to join him.
I called this back on June 15th...
