He shot much higher than he usually does and they still lost.

    lol wut.. he took many

When the **** isn't he? So far this series he's been their leading shot taker except one game and that game he had 1 shot less than Durant. By your logic the series should be reversed.
    1. Great rebuttal, really showed me with that one. He carried them down the stretch and it would of been a blowout had he not gone on a rampage in the 4th. Its not really even up for debate.

    2. I didnt say they won, I said he kept them in the game which he obviously did, way to ignore the point again. And shooting 63 percent on 32 shots quite a few of which were tough layups/jumpers is not exactly throwing the game for his team which you're crying he did basically. Just because he plays point guard doesnt mean he has to play it like Jason Kidd and never look for a shot. Hes one of the best scoring threats in the NBA.

    3. He shot 63%. What bad shots did he take? Contested layups? Most coaches will not complain about someone taking it to the hoop strong and trying to draw contact(and he even finished most of them as evident by his shooting %). It wasnt like he was taking fade away 3's or long 2 point jumpers while being double teamed.

    4. I said they had a much better record when he shoots more, not that they win every single game he shoots more. Try to keep up, or stick to golf

So who is gonna win game 5?
  • hoops23
    Miami better.

Even at 3-1, you don't want to drop this fame and have to close out at OKC on front of that crowd.

Unless I'm going crazy. The last time I clicked on this thread you had pics posted of Tiffani Amber Thiessen and her nips.

It was there. I deleted it, gave a warning. Keep the NSFW stuff in the NSFW threads ... but that was over even that line.

Heat by 15 in game 5 or they lose in 7 and the sporting world will suffer for years to come.

Westbrook has been the second best player in this series, even with the mental lapses. Miami will win tonight I think, they will play desperate so they don't have to leave Miami.

My only hope for happiness with this (and it's a small one) is that OKC can win three in a row and snatch the title from Lebron.

This would just dominate all NBA stories forever.....would be interesting and fun for OKC, but I pray that doesn't happen. They'd have to have Mike and Mike 24/7 instead of 6-10

My Psyco predictions of what will be posted after Miami's win tonite:

    1. The ref's sucked/were biased

    2. Kobe, still >Lebron

    3. The Heat did not play a full season

    4. Lebron still only has one ring.

    5. The heat will not repeat next year.

    What I will not hear:

    Damn DA, You nailed it

    No.

I think that until he/his team does get the crown, I'm going to be skeptical of his mental fortitude in a situation like this. Up 3-1, entering your final home game with a chance to win it on your court instead of having to do it in Oklahoma. Against a very good team that (in theory) will be playing with desperation. In this situation, I'm not a believer in him. After tonight, that might change...but for right now, that's where I'm at.

This is a sad state of affairs if you know where you are at.

You will have to up your game.

Whatever dude. You know what.. you're right.. just b/c he plays point guard doesn't mean he has to play like Jason Kidd.. but it's also why they won't win. If you're not going to direct the floor and run and offense and get people the ball where they're comfortable and not give them the ball where they have no business getting it, and taking them out of the game and any sort of rhythm they could be getting in b/c you're chucking it every time, and making it easy on the defense to let 4 guys stand around while you play iso, and forcing up contested fadeaway and giving the other team most scoring opportunities.. then thats great if that's your game.. but that's why you're not going to win.
A smart coach would have moved him to 2 by now LIKE HE'S PLAYED HIS WHOLE LIFE. He's not a pg. He's a SG.. He has no idea how to play the position.

The only thing better than Miami getting swept would be them blowing a 3-1 lead and losing in 7 games.

Obviously no Finals team has ever overcome a 3-1 deficit. But 2 road teams in the 2-3-2 format have avoided elimination in Game 5, only to lose the series at home in Game 6:

93- Suns won Game 5 in Chicago, then lost game 6 at home (road team won 5 of 6 in that series)

98- Jazz won Game 5 in Chicago, lost game 6 at home

Still at work. When I get home, forgetting where I'm at will be the first order of business. And that's a promise to you and everyone else in the entire world.
