I actually agree with you. All 3 pitching matchups easily favor the Tigers. You could throw Jim Leyland on the hill tomorrow night and still beat Ubaldo. Then you have a future All Star in Fister pitching...a guy the tribe should have wrestled away from you last year. And then Verlander.Classyposter58;1178197 wrote:Uh oh here we come!! Upsets happen in baseball, but the odds look pretty strong for a Tiger Sweep.
Tomorrow night, I'll be taking the night off. I can't stand watching Ubaldo and his slimeball character nor his dirtballs pitching style.. -

I can put money on it that you never even knew who Doug fister was before Detroit traded for him. And stfu about ubaldo we know you don't like him get over it. You ruin every tribe thread with you bullshit ubaldo shit. -

:laugh:No. But tomorrow may be slugfest because Porcello hasn't been on it lately. Thing about Detroit's pitching though is that they lead the AL in K's but just have been giving up bad runs or not fielding well. Sooner or later they'll start winning these 3-2 tight games and when that happens they'll take off. Also Fielder, Cabrera and Jackson have been tearing it up the last 7, especially Prince who's hitting .464 with 2 HR and 8 RBIhoops23;1178230 wrote:STFU -

Or the tigers pitching and defense sucks outside of verlander and there not as good as people thought they would be. Fielder and victor basically cancel each other out and there bullpen got worse. So the way the tigers are playing doesn't surprise me at all -

Goo Tigers? ...yes I'll agree with that, the more goo the better.Goo Tigers!! -
grodtHuge series, for obvious reasons. Got to get this first one against Porcello so we don't have to sweep Fister and Verlander to win the series. Hopefully the day off will get the offense back on track after a pretty dreadful Miami series.
-
TBone14This is a big series. The longer we hold off the Tigers the better. Catching them down the stretch seems unlikely.

What a touching story from Hits! Ha ha! And Footwedge taking a break from the game too because of who's pitching? Don't do it! -
Glory DaysPorcello struggling, lets put up a crooked number.

Crimson streakFucking Avila dude always kills us
-
MulvaFucking Ubaldo.

BR1986FBTHAT'S the Ubaldo we all know and love...
.....POS -
Glory DaysUbaldo seems to be throwing between 93-95mph. hopefully run support comes along.
-
hoops23Ubaldo's problem isn't velocity. He's hitting 95. His problem is LOCATION.
And fucking Avila.. Dude hit like 320 against us last season and picks right up where he left off. -
hoops23And our offense continues to suck. This is why we're pretenders.
-
hoops23Hafner is alive.
-
hoops23This is Ubaldo's problem. Two quick outs then a 4 pitch walk to the #9 hitter.
Dude has FILTHY stuff but his control is horrible. I have no idea how this has not been worked on/improved. -
DeadliestWarrior34We've got fucking Rick Vaughn pitching for us.
