I have lived w/ shitty fucking seasons, I can live w/ one more to set up the future.

Let me guess..you're 55 years old like BR?
Not 55 years old. Older than you and DEFINITELY in better shape than your fat ass. Should be ashamed of yourself letting yourself go like that.

I'm 24. I'm just not a dumbass like you.

Well I'm 58 and I agree with you. age doesn't have anything to do with it.
If we had a 'good' draft, it is because we had high picks and got good players because of that. Did we take the best players available with those picks? I'm less sure of that.

jesus, nobody is bitching about not getting kendal wright. I guarantee he has a better career than travis fucking benjamin though.

Decastro at #22
Hill/Jeffery at #37
Thompson at #87
Cousins at #100

To be honest I would have been fine with Billy Winn as the 3rd round pick. I think if you swap him and Hughes nobody would be bitching about it.

Stick to your word please. You're in full on SQ/Crynasty meltdown mode. I won't miss your irrational QQing on here, that's for sure.

Cue S&L comping down on chocolate bars for comfort for all the "mean" things people say on here (because we disagree with him).

No. There would still be bitching. As soon as they turned in the card for Weeden at 22 a lot of the fan base was in full on meltdown mode. The draft likely wasn't getting any better for them.

Fuck....they dude (Weeden) hasn't even taken a snap and he's already getting pissy tweets on Twitter. Welcome to Cleveland, Mr Weeden!

I just can't wait for the passing game to get rolling. I'm sure when the WRs are putting up numbers everyone is going to talk about how Weeden is good because of the WRs. People don't realize that QBs make WRs. It rarely happens the other way around.

Not a chance!! He's 28 years old! He'll break a hip!!! NO chance these receivers have ANY talent!!!
• buckeyes_woowee
haha people are dumb. I think you will see a huge decline in drops just for the simple fact that Weeden can throw a tight spiral and on target.
• zach24oz
And he will probably lead receivers down field instead of them having to stop and come back for it. I think Little should have a pretty good year with Weeden, assuming Weeden wins the job. MoMass will be MoMass, Cribbs might be alright, and Travis Benjamin could be a good home run hitter deep and getting screens to him. Then having TRich will hopefully help the passing game too with play action and getting guys open in the middle or deep.

I don't think there will be a "winning of the job." You don't draft a 28 year old QB with a 1st round pick to sit & learn. Barring injury, Weeden's the QB.
• zach24oz
I know he's going to be the QB, just saying that for the people who would say he has to earn/win the spot first.
• BR1986FB
Didn't listen to 92.3 this morning but I guess Booms was ripping on the WR's. Cribbs must have been listening because below are his responses and I guess 92.3 was reading them on air. Not sure if they responded...

Josh Cribbs ‏ @ JoshCribbs16
Almost every sports radio critic would say we needed WRs, but Holmgren, who's built winning teams does otherwise, hmmm who do I side with?

Josh Cribbs ‏ @ JoshCribbs16
Holmgren with over 25+ years of experience or local radio hmmm this is a difficult one!!!!

Josh Cribbs ‏ @ JoshCribbs16
Maybe if u tell the public we need new cleats so we could win & make it sound good "hey if they had newer cleats they wouldnt slip, they slip more than any team!" they would wonder why we can't new ones... Smh

Josh Cribbs ‏ @ JoshCribbs16
They speak like if they went out & drafted all wr we going to the super bowl!!! I mean if that's the case we should've took all WR's... Smh

I'm done had to take up for my fellow wideouts!! Oh yeah GreenBay was 2nd in drops, & a drop is anything touching ur hand not catchable... Oh & I enjoy ur show it's entertaining just give ppl a chance to talk sometime even if u don't agree or u lose ur validity, & what u say bc biased & not fact!

Cribbs sucks. Ever since they changed the kickoff rule, I wish they would just cut the guy. Waste of space.

So? You said it yourself, amongst many others. Weeden is NFL ready. NFL ready means he is able to play in the NFL right now. No excuses imo, especially since he will be 29 by October. You can't give a "free pass" on the first 16 games for a guy who will be much closer to retirment than any other rookie after his first season.

Also, people were very critical of McCoy wellllllllll before his 16 games. People, including yourself were very hard on McCoy after his week 4 game against the Titans. So, yeah sorry. Maybe I will give Weeden a pass on his first few games, after that if he continues to suck ass, I will be hard on him.

According to many posters here, the Browns are going to be lucky to win 1 game regardless of what this draft was like.

I don't like Cousins, but I sure as hellw ould take that pick over Weeden.

He better have the fucking job. If there is an actual shot of him losing the starting job, then thats an early red flag of how shitty of a draft pick that was.

Your such a great talent evaluator. Troy smith 49ers starting qb lol

If the Browns go 7-9 with that schedule, and Weeden goes through typical rookie growing pains but nonetheless has a good year, I'll be convinced he's more of a franchise QB than Colt.

Some of the comments on here totally disregard how we played last year. We could have had a lot more wins with a competent offense. Add a stud RB and a stronger armed QB, and doesn't our offense become more competent? That's a bad thing how??
• BR1986FB
I think this WCO will be A LOT more vertical with Weeden but I'm also getting the impression it will be "run first" and that they will still try to win "ugly."

This has nothing to do with who is the bigger franchise qb, McCoy or Weeden. The point is neither of those two players are a franchise qb so why waste a 1st round pick when you can go through one more terrible season and actually get our franchise qb?
