I'm very surprised by Jimenez today.....so far! I'm not holding my breath. Even though he has a you know what going right now, Acta will pull him and put Wild Thing in there.

he's seemed to have the good control at home in his time with the tribe. it's been away from the prog that has been the problem

People were definitely bitching about his velocity.

Absolutely!! That is what frustrates me to know end, It's freaking ridiculous that you and I know that, but the real millionaires that own this team don't realize that. To make money you have to spend money....but spend money on the right players, not Hafner/Sizemore.

That would generate 40,500,000 if the average of those 5000 tickets is $10. Obviously that's not net income, but that should more than cover a $10 mil contract on a hitter, right? I mean wtf.

The problem is that that would require the dolans to spend money up front. Even if they would make money in the end, they are too cheap to make that initial spending. Plus it makes to much sense. I mean who wants a winning team and a team that makes the owners money? Obviously not the Dolans.

exactly. and how many of those fans buy at least one hot dog or a beer? I am talking about one player here for a team that is struggling with attendance, but has shown that they will come out if they are winning. fuck dolan...he is a retard

LMAO at us making hypothetical minuscule calculations to determine what type of players we could sign. Very sad.
  • Mulva
5,000 x 10 x 81 is $4,050,000, not $40 mil. But Fausto and Grady alone would have been $12 mil that could have gone toward signing a slugger.
  • OQB
jesus christ Santana.....you're a fucking catcher....catch the damn ball.
  • Mulva
    Also, god dammit.

And this is why control is the concern with Ubaldo.
  • wes_mantooth
    no hitter gone....win gone.
  • OQB
lmao...first hit of the game for the jays and it's tied up.

First 2 hits of the game:

    2 run homer for us
    2 run single for them
  • grodt
Balls. Still a good outing for Ubaldo.

yeah, I will take 2 runs in 7 innings from him everytime. Sadly, I think that with a line like that...we only have a small chance of winning

Yeah, that inning was all command....and he lost it.
  • OQB
let's see if we can get anything going....
  • OQB
How many more games until Hafner gets hurt?
  • royal_k
Lead off man on for the Tribe, with Hafner and our slugging first baseman due up....
