only Redman and Clay if Moore can't play

    Shit.

I think NBC gets first dibs on the primetime game, but I could be wrong about that
If NBC gets dibs, they will only consider PIT if NYG wins tonight, IMO. If DAL wins, no one will displace them as their pick, even Jesus vs. a massive fanbase.

So why do they kick off from the 35 yd line now?

for wildcard weekend, i'm pretty sure they have their choice of nfc teams for the primetime game this year (jets/colts was nbc's primetime game last year for wildcard weekend and falcons/packers was fox's primetime game for the divisional round). i'd imagine steelers/broncos will be the 430 game on sunday

True. Detroit/New Orleans and Pittsburgh/Denver are intriguing options but Dallas probably trumps all for Saturday primetime.

I'm wondering though if they have to make that decision before the Dallas/Giants game is decided. The Giants are still a decent pick for primetime but not automatic like Dallas usually is.

4:00 on CBS Sunday with Nantz/Simms beats Saturday afternoon (no one is home) with NBC's backup announce crew of Tom Hammond and Mike Mayock. Better day, network, and crew.

Stick CIN/HOU with the shit slot and network, especially if the NFC goes Sat. night.

To reduce injuries caused by kickoff collisions by increasing the number of touchbacks. I'm not a fan of that rule either, but if the evidence over the next few years shows that kickoff related injuries are significantly down I couldn't argue against the legitimacy of it.

But I'll always argue against an 8-8 team hosting a 12-4 team. I think the Steelers will win anyway though. Denver sucks.

You might be right about that. I know for the divisional round it rotates so CBS will have the primetime game on Saturday, either at Baltimore or at New England.

Wasn't sure if NBC had to rotate between AFC and NFC each year.

It seems like the first wild card is generally the worst so maybe NBC picks one and then after CBS and Fox decide Sunday, NBC gets the last one that's left.

The last one should be Cincinnati at Houston. So if Pittsburgh is not Saturday night they'll be Sunday at 4:30

Win your Division then. All the steelers had to do was win 1 of 2 against the Ravens and not lose both including at HOME.

No Mendenhall or Moore might be a good thing and force Arians to do other stuff than run in obvious spots.

Tebow scares me because Pittsburgh either has trouble over-pursuing and he'll run or we'll let em deep once or twice. Arians has to abandon the play to stay up 1 score crap....this damn team still is confident they'll win in miracle fashion, and what better way to do it than against a team that refuses to pull away and usually goes down to the last play.

I was hoping for that time slot.

    For two reasons.

Steelers have more time to rest up and if they lose at least they're alive one extra day!

He acted like an idiot POS and now has a torn ACL at the end of the season which could screw up his season next yr as well. And to top it off he has to miss playing in the post season.

he just voiced an idiotic opinion on a terrorist. a fluke mis-step caused his acl to tear, not karma

Karma from his Dad's past. Karma is also generational.

I really like Tebow but the Steelers are going to give him a really bad day . Denvers D might keep them in the game for awhile but if we get some picks or turnovers it will be over quick . Ben cant move and our # 1 runner is out so it might end up like the Browns game . My prediction is it will be a very ugly game 70's deffensive style Steelers 20 - 6 take the under

I think Adrian Peterson banged Lebrons mom, so yes...karma was involved.

Tebow's family tree must be flawless then. Maybe one of them fucked up somewhere along the line and karma will bite him in the ass next Sunday. At least that's what I'm hoping for.
