Forgot about him. DaJuan Wagner flamed out quick too!

Is Morrison in the league anywhere?

Another is better, DaJuan Blair. I knew he would be good, but he is really turning out to be a great asset in San Antonio.

I'm not a Carolina hater and I didn't think he would suck. I just didn't see how his game would translate to the next level. Thankfully he has become a good mid range shooter which seems to be his niche on offense.

Everyone said he was going to be a steal.

Like I said, I thought he would be good.

Wayne Ellington, not sure why but I thought he would be good in the NBA. SMH at myself.

Yeah but I remember alot of people were saying it was joke he fell so low. The main concern with him was his knees. Seemed like most thought he had enough skill to make it. San Antonio was just smart / brave enough to roll the dice

lol was just thinking him too. His stroke was untouchable though, always a need for a shooter in the NBA. Unfortunately, no one really wants him lol.

Bron isn't as good as I thought he would be.
true, the hype was unheard of.

I argued with someone on here or on JJ that he wouldn't be any good, they tried to tell me he would in fact be able to create his own shot at the next level.

The one that I thought would be good that wasn't was the Forte kid from out of Carolina(i think)

lol it was probably me. He was one of my favorite players at Carolina.

That was another one...he is ok, but I thought he would be a star.

Yeah, Joseph Forte. He was nasty. And then sucked.

Forte was good at UNC. He even got on the cover of a college basketball video game I had.

He just sucked apparently. I don't think he had injury issues did he?

Ricky Rubio appears to be much better than I thought he would as well

I am also worried that if the Cavs take Harrison Barnes...he will be Marvin Williams 2.0.
  • hoops23
Joe Forte was the man at UNC.

Kris Lang, Ron Curry, Brendan Haywood, Julius Peppers, Jason Caple, etc..

    Great time for UNC basketball.

I don't think their games are similar at all. Marvin worked from the post a lot and was freakishly athletic.

Harrison Barnes is a true wing player and can score from anywhere. Not as athletic though.

Barnes really reminds me more of Joe Johnson.

Marv Williams never did much at UNC though. He was just a super recruit who played spotty minutes on a really good team. He was a "high potential" guy out of school. Atlanta is still waiting on him to progress haha

Oden has been a huge disappointment.

And for some odd reason, I really thought D Cook would be a very good NBA player.
