Yes after they had him in the CP3 deal. I think he REALLY regrets it now. And probably should have just stfu about it when the trade was vetoed.

After he was initially traded he said he didn't want to play where he wasn't wanted.

But that's my point, it seems that entire scenario just took his heart/interest out of the game. He always mentioned how he'd hoped to finish his career as a Laker.

My point was, if that trade was NEVER made for CP3, LO is probably playing very well for the Lakers right now.

Exactly. He acted like a bitch and now he's acting like an even bigger one. These things happen in sports. Not the first time he was traded.

Harrellson is his best success story in how far he's taken him. One knock on Cal is he can't develop talent, he just recruits well and throws athletes on the court and they produce.

Cal would have never looked at Harrellson for a scholarship, and was a Jodie Meeks going pro from kicking Harrellson to the curb. 2 years later Harrelson is a huge cog in a Final Four team, gets drafted and actually scores a double double in his 3rd NBA game...

I wouldnt call Harrelson a success story yet.
  • Azubuike24
    He isn't.

Him actually seeing an NBA floor is the success.

Wouldnt give all the credit to Cal though. Because he certainly didnt have the jumper hes showing off this year while playing for Kentucky. So the young man put plenty of gym hours in during the off season

    Yes, he had it.

That's all Harrellson had his redshirt Sophomore year at UK.

Watch his minutes from his only year under Gillispie.

He was a perimeter player. Calipari told him his Junior year that his big men don't play that way. Harrellson took a long time to adapt that is why he never saw the floor in 2009-10. When being recruited, Harrellson was known as a 3-point shooter.

So the way hes getting minutes in the NBA is the exact opposite way that Coach Cal wanted him to play?
  • Azubuike24
In 2008-09, Harrellson grabbed only 84 rebounds, 2.5 RPG. He attempted 15 three-pointers.

In 2010-11, Harrellson grabbed 329 rebounds, 8.7 RPG. He only attempted 10 three-pointers.

He can shoot, but he's not a great shooter and that isn't why he made the NBA. It's because of his body and desire.

What Cal got him to do is use his 6'11, 275 lbs to actually learn to defend other big men and rebound. Had he not learned that before Cal and was actually known as a pretty lazy player. That's why it's such an amazing turn around.

It was no where near THAT close! Lol Miami looked like the Eastern Conference All-Stars in game

Mullens struggled shooting ending with 6 points and 4 rb

    Triple double for Rondo. 18, 11, 14.
  • Mulva
Wes Johnson is off to a really bad start for Minnesota. Didn't have the most impressive rookie year, and while I haven't seen a Wolves game, the stats would indicate he didn't improve his game much during the offseason.

6, 8, 5, and tonight 2 points. Doesn't rebound either, and more turnovers than assists. Not ideal production from your starting 2 guard.

Demarcus Cousins is demanding a trade
  • Azubuike24
Dallas getting smoked by Minnesota. Kevin Love beasting again. Almost got another 20-20 game.

    lol. Such a headcase.
  • Azubuike24
Cousins and Paul Westphal don't see eye to eye. I'd like to see him get traded. Maybe to the Wizards. Or Philadelphia.
  • robj55
Rubio is nice, has a great bball iq and feel for the game and his jumper has improved. His defense is way better than I thought it would be as well.
  • GOONx19
The Demarcus Cousins situation is a shame. He has all the physical tools to step in as a top 3 center in the league, he's just uncoachable.
  • Azubuike24
Outside of 1 blow up in December, he was a model citizen under Calipari. He might have an attitude or be immature at times, but the guy wants to win. He won A LOT before getting to the NBA...and now he's with an organization with as much dysfunction as anyone in the league over the past 3 years.

Turner is with the 2nd unit because he can be the pass first ball handler to make up for Williams being a shoot first PG. With Williams and Meeks on the 2nd unit together you don't have that. From the stuff I have read about the Sixers, Collins isn't a fan of Turner and didn't want them to draft him over Favors.

Read the NBA blog on CBS and one of the bloggers said the Magic should look at the Sixers if they want to trade Howard to a possible rental team. Howard for AI/Turner and some picks. Don't know if I would do it if I were the Sixers though.

The Sixers would be absolutely retarded to not consider Iggy, Turner and picks for Howard. I'd probably quit being a fan...and I've never quit on a team in my life.

You won't have to because the Magic are not making that trade.
