Cleveland Browns @ Oakland Raiders: Week 6

I didn't expect any improvement this year. I'm the one who got ripped on during the offseason for saying they didn't do anything to improve.

That said, 0 improvement from a 5 win team playing a worse schedule than last year should not = a 1-11 finish to the season, and I don't think it will. Seattle, St. Louis, Arizona, and Jacksonville are all garbage, and we get 3 of them at home. Plus even though the Bengals are currently 4-2, let's not kid ourselves there and act like that's an unwinnable game.

And, it's still the NFL, so anything could happen on any given week.

maybe they beat seattle next week (huge maybe) but san francisco names the score the week after that and this team can't score with nor will they have any way of stopping beanie wells and larry fitzgerald

Greg Little in his first official start had a great game. 6 catches for 75 yards and should've had a TD if he doesn't fall down.
This. I'm amazed that it took the coaching staff so long to make the switch.

This is tough to watch, this team seems to be moving in the wrong direction. I'm really starting to doubt Colt, I really wanted that kid to be the real deal

Pick6;935886 wrote:"fuck the browns" means you love them?
yes it does. they had terrible play calling all day, and played like ass. Doesn't mean I didn't watch and follow the game until the end and will always love the brownies. Nice try though pick, go wipe your vagina. Were you sad your boy TP didn't play? lol kyle boller.

thinks i took from the game.

    - greg little has a bright future here.
    - each week colt mccoy keeps showing me why he isn't the future.
    - hillis will either be traded or he will leave via free agency.
    - we need joe haden.
    - shurmur has a lot to learn, and i mean a lot.

your team is 4 and freaking 2 this season and yet you are blacked out locally for every home game...not really in a position to talk about another team's fandom. if the browns were 4-2, i'd be f***ing estatic and could really care less what any other team was doing

its alrght. im pretty sure the raiders season is over. campbell is done for the season. i don't think boller will lead them to a division title.

I like how the defense kept playing until the end and tried to keep the team in the game and gave them a chance to win it. Then Philly Dawson has a great on-side kick and gets recovered by us...then Colt somehow cannot get 3 yds in 3 plays...Unfreaking believable! I am trying and have tried to give him some slack but here lately he has really made me think that we need to consider looking elsewhere if he continues to keep up this kind of play...and next yrs QB class in the draft should have some good prospects too...it did hurt not having Haden in there today too.

Is that a sense of glee in your post? While Campbell indeed has a broken collarbone, I'm not sure why you find happiness in the Raiders' season to "be over". Same things were said when Dan Pastorini went down with a broken bone and out trotted Jim Plunkett. You know the rest as Pastorini never played again for the Raiders. Look for the Raiders to sign up David Garrard, ex of the Jaguars.

Don't live in the past. They've had 3 games sold out so far in 2011, including today's game. Next week is KC and that always draws a crowd to the East Bay. I realize the Browns are off to a rough start, but I'm not sure why there's so much hatred for the team that dominated them today.

i did not know that. way before my time dude. wonder if they trade for orton?
  • BGFalcons82
Hey mulva....how 'bout Jacoby Ford, eh? I thought he was "garbage"? And regarding DHB, if he was so sad as you claimed, why did your boy Patterson give him a 10 to 15 yard cushion on the line of scrimmage? He wasn't afraid of being toasted, now was he? While we're at it...how many balls did he drop today?

sportchamps isnt a bengals fan??? i got nothing against the raiders

Nope. Garrard will be brought in for a look-see. Orton doesn't fit the Raider-style. I wouldn't be shocked to see them try to pry Bruuuuce from the Bengals.
