Merrill Hoge blasts Tim Tebow on Twitter

  • Speedofsand
Tebow can't play in the NFL.

Tebow can't start in the NFL.

Tebow can't win in the NFL.

Tebow can't win in this style of offense for long in the NFL.

Tebow can't win a Super Bowl.

    ................

Haters, bet the mortgage on the Vikings! Von Miller could be out. He had thumb surgery yesterday.

John Fox gets 0%. If you're going to credit a coach its Mike McCoy.

It should be 100% for completely changing his strategy/coaching style to fit the players he has. He didn't sign up for this, but he changed his gameplans to fit the option offense, something a lot of coaches (because of their arrogance and stubborness to their system) would not have done.

Fox could have Tebow air it out 25 times a game, and rush the ball 0 times if he really wanted to, then we'd truly see how effective Tebow is as a passing QB.
Its actually a MINUS 10% I gave Fox. If Fox wanted to use Tebow at his best he would run a hurry up offense (similar to what Wyche ran in Cincy in the 80's) 90% of the time. Tebow has the 4th highest rating in the NFL in the 4th quarter when they run that type of offense.

Are you disputing that the 4th quarter is the most important time of the game and that Tebow is one of the best in the NFL in the 4th quarter?

Lebron leads the league in 4th quarter scoring and during the last 5 minutes of the game. Hater's gon hate though.

He was actually fourth this year, behind Kobe, D-Rose and Mo Williams. But he had a better FG% than those first two. Criticisms involving Lebron and the 4th quarter are all unwarranted, though, and Sleeper wins again.

sleeper loses. 4th is not leading the league.

Those numbers weren't for 4th quarter scoring or last 5 minutes.

They were for last 5 minutes in games that are within 5 points or less.

Leads the league has many connotations. I think 4th counts as leading. Enjoy!

He doesn't even know what connotation means. You might want to help him out there.

Now I see why you would think that way, since OSU is 4th in the B1G++ Leaders division.

Evidently you did not watch the 2010-11 NBA Finals and Lebrons 4th quarter performances (2.2 points) when it mattered most and that 82 games.com stat is not 4th quarter scoring.

The cover of the inaugural edition of the league's official monthly publication, NFL Magazine, which hits newsstands Dec. 13, will feature Tebow instead of Carolina rookie quarterback Cam Newton as originally planned.
"Playbook Special Edition: Tim Tebow" hosted by Joe Theismann airs at 10:30 p.m. ET Saturday. This is the first time a "Playbook" show focused on one player will air in a nontraditional time slot on the league's network.

from last year, Tebow mic'd up, comeback win from 0-17 halftime vs Houston. Enjoy! Especially my favorite quote at 4:40

Should give Tebow and Co. another win that prevents the Broncos from ever winning anything relevant.

The Vikings are 2-9 with Peterson so whats the big deal? Then again its the NFL and any given Sunday...
You are just mad the Broncos might add another victory and you are already discounting it. Although it be 5 road wins in a row for Tebow and the Broncos.
