Lol at this game. What a beatdown.
Also, 10 man Real lost today 1-0 to Levante. -
chicago510I saw the highlights, but damn 82-18 possession?! I've never seen that before.

MulvaMan U finally doesn't win a match, drawing with Stoke. Now tied with Man City at the top of the table.

not surprised with Rooney not playing, they are a different team without himMulva;909072 wrote:Man U finally doesn't win a match, drawing with Stoke. Now tied with Man City at the top of the table. -
OSHWow. The Red Devils squeaked out a draw with FC Basel tonight.
Man United without 8 regular starters took a 2-goal lead behind Danny Welbeck (good for him!) in the 16' and 17'. Then...give up 3 second half goals before getting the equalizer in the 90+ minute?!
Wooooooooooooow! And that was even at Old Trafford! -
AutomatikWho grabbed FIFA '12? Almost everyone I talk to dislikes the new changes on defense. I personally like them. You have to be much more precise when standing tackling and you can't just live on the x/a button to pressure the ball.
-
OSHI have been pondering on picking it up. I dunno if I can spend the money.
I am usually just a Halo Reach guy and it saves me money. -
AutomatikYou seem like a huge fan of the game. I'd definitely go for it. Its literally the only game I play/buy. There's a feature, Adidas Live Season, that updates leagues, teams, player ratings in relation to how they are doing in real life. There were times last year when Messi was damn near unstoppable.
-
OSHDefinitely a "student of the game."
I should just break down and get it. I love playing the manager/franchise mode and going from team to team building them up. That's so much fun. -

havent picked it up yet..but have played the demo. I like the changes compared to 2011Automatik;914057 wrote:Who grabbed FIFA '12? Almost everyone I talk to dislikes the new changes on defense. OSHI have heard "it's too easy to score." I never thought that'd be a major complaint!
I also hear it's harder to dribble and/or take people 1v1 -- harder to pull moves. I was never one to use moves anyway, so maybe that's good for me.'
Maybe I'll have to talk to the wife about this... -
AutomatikI think its actually easier to take someone on 1v1. You can't "lock on" to the man with the ball like you could before. You now have a button that goes for a "standing" tackle, if not timed right you can completely whiff and they go right by you.
R1 "placed" shots seem to go in a bit more. You can rain them from pretty far out of you have an angle. I was putting them on goal regularly.
lol...I hope you're kidding about asking your wife to drop $60 on a game. -
JesterValencia v. Chelsea on FSC right now. 35th minute with no score, although Valencia has had a few opportunities with some nice passing.
-
OSHMy wife picked the game up for me! Woohoo!
Started my first season on manager mode. Started with the Crew. I'll play one season there then move on. I picked up Macheda on a season loan...man he is good against these MLS squads.
I like the game so far. I actually like the changes to defending. I just need to finish more regularly. -
hoops23I love the changes defensively. It actually takes skill/practice to master defending now, instead of holding down the turbo button.
I also like the new impact system. Really changes a play when a guy gets bumped/knocked down, both on the attack or on the defensive.
I also think it's a bit harder to score, which is great IMO. I love tight games, as I try to play realistically. I'm jumping over from FIFA '10, so this is definitely a big change for me.
I also love the precision dribbling. Feels like you finally have control over every movement you'd want.
IGN gave this game a 9.5, my guess is it'll win a lot of awards for Sports game of the year. Definitely the best one I've played in quite some time. It absolutely destroys Madden in terms of playability, presentation, and simulation. -
hoops23I was 2-0 then 3-1 online...
I'm now 3-3-6
I can not fucking win anymore and it's pissing me off.
For some reason, I can't score. I top out at about a goal a game during this horrendous stretch. I'll have 1-on-1's with the goal keeper and no matter what, he blocks it. If I do manage to get my shot past him, it hits the fucking goal posts. My last match, I played against a guy I should have creamed. I got out to a 1-0 lead, and should have been up 4-0 at the end of the 1st half. I missed a WIDE OPEN net from about 10 feet away and had 2 other shots hit the post.
He then gets 2 straight BS goals to win, ending my night of frustration.
I'm losing games 2-1 regularly. I was a beast on FIFA 10 and averaged about 5 goals a game online. I like the learning curve on this game, but I need some pointers on scoring goals. -
OSHKlinsmann gets his first win today! A 1-0 win over Honduras with a beaut from Dempsey!
