The most popular and most coveted of all soccer awards, or football awards, is definitely the championship trophy of the FIFA World Cup.

Ok, so if that's the case the idiot should talk about the 2 best players for that team. Xavi and Iniesta. It happens that they are both in the top 5 players category, even though it is asinine to assume to be the best you have to win a World Cup.

Well, it's official...Bob Bradley has been hired by Egypt to coach their national team...wow...

FIFA '12 demo came out Tuesday. Anyone try it?

I played for about 10 min this morning and I dig it so far. The new impact engine is great and there are also a few new things you can do on defense.

I downloaded it last night and I'm loving it.

I like that they added some physicality as a defender, aside from sliding tackles.

I did find scoring a bit harder, which is actually ok with me. In the 3 matches I played, I scored 2 goals. Granted, I didn't play much of FIFA '11, so I'm still getting the hang of the movement in this game. I've stuck with FIFA '10 up until now, but I'll definitely be getting FIFA '12.

One thing I did notice, and I'm not sure if it's the same in '11, but PK's are a bit more challenging than they are '10.
  • Automatik
Yeah they changed the PK's on '11. I absolutely hate them. I can't tell you how many times I've lost a game online because of blown PKs.

Yeah, they changed them from '10 to '11, and that's the new system they're using in '12.

I'm really liking the game so far, especially the new defending options. One thing that is messing with my gameplay a little bit is the fact they moved (on the PS3) the "AI Defense Press" to R1 from Circle. There's many of time so far where I've pressed Circle instead of R1 and my defender just makes a standing tackle instead of bringing his buddy over.

Scoring took a while to get used to; it took me six games to finally put in. Though, I think it was a combination of my previous tactics failing and shooting itself got tweaked a bit.

Overall, I'm real pumped for the actual release.

PKs are a bitch in 11, so Im sure 12 is a bitch as well. You cant move the joystick but half a millimeter or it goes wide. Ive figured it out enough to make like 75%, but that still sucks.

Yeah, I got into a PK shootout in the demo last night and tried the same thing I do in '10... It sailed wide and way into the crowd... I somehow managed to win, even though I missed 3 kicks.. The computer missed 3 and I actually blocked the last 1 that was in sudden death.

Can we just wear the AZ jerseys when we play internationally?

Seriously. I think he's got something like 6 goals in 5 games with them.

I read an article how stats in the Dutch Eredivisie are a little out of context. I can't say what all they were saying about it, but basically several players build up their stats there and get a huge contract elsewhere and completely flounder. It is a bit much to look that hard into what he is doing there because of the quality of the league. That's basically what it was saying.

Though, hasn't half of Jozy's goals for AZ come in the Europa League. I mean, it isn't the Champions League, but I would imagine most teams in the Europa League are halfway-decent.

Europa is solid. But at this stage, it isnt anything special. When you throw in the 3rd placers from the CL Group stage, now you have some competition.

Maybe Jozy can be like another stud from the Dutch league...Mr. Ibrahimovic. Just hope he isnt a douche like Ibra.

Luis Suarez is doing pretty well in the EPL after tearing up Holland.

The club Jozy scored on today is actually pretty solid. They beat Rangers in the Champions League 3rd qualifying round and lost 4-3 on aggregate in the playoff round. Just missed out on the CL group stage.

Also, just saw that Inter lost their 1st group stage match at home to Trabzonspor yesterday. WTF? Lost the Super Cup (pretty irrelevant) to Milan and their Serie A opener to Palermo too. 3 matches and 3 losses on the season.

Crazy how he went from one of the most dangerous finishers to a complete stiff.

Gotta be mental, he still looks decently quick and made one hell of a pass on that ramirez fuck up. Just seems like he rushes everything he does.

Also, nani looked like he was cumming his ass off in that lead up to commercials. What a ***

City finally got slowed down, only got a draw with Fulham. 2 more goals for Aguero though.
