I was thinking about buying a jersey, but opted for the hoodie and t-shirt instead.
- 3 Messi Jerseys
- Ronaldinhon/Messi (basically #10 shorts, started as Ronnie, now Messi) Shorts
- Messi/Pedro (same as above) #17 Shorts
- 1 Bojan Jersey
- 1 Giovanni Jersey
- 1 Eto'o Jersey
- 1 Puyol Jersey. This one and 1st Messi are from 2003. They are worn to shit!
- 1 Practice Jersey signed by Alves, Bojan, Victor Valdes, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol and Thiago Alcantara (who Im pumped about, cause I think he is the next Xavi, with more flare going forward).
Then the hoodie. -

I'm so glad they have the play a friend feature that keeps tracks of stats. I've been saying for years that they needed an "online lounge" mode.hoops23;939408 wrote:The online setup of FIFA 12 is amazing. I love how it mirrors a season, with cup schedules, divisions, etc...
I have Madden '12, but it's about to go by the wayside. I plan on trading it in along with Dead Island to pick up BF3. It's amazing how I keep letting myself get burned by Madden.
FIFA '12 is the best sports game I've played, surpassing NBA 2K11... -
killer_ewokAuto-You play 6 minute halves?
Also, any certain settings that make the simulation more realistic? -
Laley23
Have you ever played. If not, Id start on the easiest setting. When we get to 2014, you might be ready for World Class. It took me about 3 years before I wont La Liga versus World Class. Its a very much possession game at that point, cause if you lose the ball its tough to get it back right away.killer_ewok;940078 wrote:Auto-You play 6 minute halves?

As far as the movement/gameplay. Not sure. The movements are as good as I can remember for Fifa, so I had no complaints, but Im also very used to it all. Not using turbo in close situations will make the movements much easier and realistic. -
killer_ewokI played this year's demo and just bought the game recently and played a couple exhibitions on easy. I did okay but it was on the lowest level. I've never played FIFA games before.
-
Laley23
I think there are like 4 settings right? Id say the easiest after a few games becomes too easy. But then the levels going up are pretty good indication on skill level and how long you've played. Id start on the easiest for a month (really depending on how often you play) then move up. Once you think youve mastered it, move up again. You can switch the settings within the season/manager mode so if its too hard just go back down. It isnt like some games where skill level locks in till the next season or whatever.killer_ewok;940115 wrote:I played this year's demo and just bought the game recently and played a couple exhibitions on easy. hoops23Amateur, Semi-Pro, Professional, and I think World Class
I had to start off on Semi-pro after coming over from FIFA 10. I love it though because it is so much more truer to the game... -

Is legendary in place of World class, or do they both exist? lol..ohiobucks1;940478 wrote:Dont you dare forget Legendary. -
ohiobucks1They both exist. In some Fifa's legendary is only unlockable. I dont know about '12 I still dominate Fifa 11 online. I will switch to 12 after Black Friday. I have 12x more wins than loses in fifa 11

I was really good on FIFA '10 online which I played up until I bought FIFA '12...ohiobucks1;940496 wrote:They both exist. In some Fifa's legendary is only unlockable. However, I've not had as much success in '12. I started out 3-0, but I think I'm currently 4-5-3 -

chicago5101) Fox won the Rights to the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. Ugh, just when ESPN was doing a brilliant job at something.

Too bad for ESPN. They are gonna be missing out. But personally, FOX will do a better job so long as they use FOX for a game, FX for a game and the FSNs for a game. What do we have, Russia and Qatar...so games will be in the morning/afternoon. No real issues with news or other games on FSN (unless a local baseball team is playing). They CANNOT put ANYTHING on FSC though, no one gets that channel and it will be a disaster.chicago510;940637 wrote:1) Fox won the Rights to the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. like_thatGlad ESPN lost its coverage. Glad other companies are challenging ESPN. Huge victory for those who want ESPN to go fuck themselves.

OSHNot too disappointed that ESPN lost the coverage. But I will echo the sentiments that hopefully FOX makes the games VERY visible.
Not getting the games to the general public would be a huge travesty.
Now...I just hope that ESPN doesn't start dropping their MLS and international games. That'd be terrible for the MLS and the USMNT if ESPN abandoned soccer in the States. Some ESPN writers were bringing this topic up...maybe just to stir the pot, but it's a definite possibility -- they compared it to the NHL lockout and how ESPN hasn't gone back to hockey much. -

Fuck them. Not everyone is as infatuated with ESPN as they once were. Hockey is doing just fine without ESPN since they came back, and I have no doubt soccer will be fine without ESPN as well as long as another company picks them up.OSH;940651 wrote:Not too disappointed that ESPN lost the coverage. Losing MLS would be devastating. USMNT would be bad, but I cant see FOX screwing it up if they have the coverage of that. Id expect the games to just be on FOX if they are big games and FX or something for the smaller friendlies. But MLS...FOX wont put that on anything mainstream so it would hurt.OSH;940651 wrote:Not too disappointed that ESPN lost the coverage. I feel like NBC sports would take a shot if MLS was dropped.Laley23;940661 wrote:Losing MLS would be devastating. chicago510Look, I don't like ESPN, but the did a brilliant job with the 2010 WC and the 2011 WWC. Their soccer coverage has no doubt upped the bar.
And did you see Fox's coverage of the Champions League final, ugh.
I guess Fox has 7 years to get their act together. -
Laley23
That sucked, but their soccer coverage in general is the best. Their CL coverage aside from the final is better than anything ESPN did during the CL league.chicago510;940666 wrote:Look, I don't like ESPN, but the did a brilliant job with the 2010 WC and the 2011 WWC. Color me one of those people who is upset with FOX winning the coverage. ESPN may not have put a huge emphasis on soccer throughout the four years between World Cups, but their WC coverage was absolutely fantastic these past two years with men's and women's WC.
I strongly dislike the fact that FOX was able to capture the UCL from ESPN, and I have to say that for some reason, soccer games on FOX don't have the same feel for me as games on ESPN, but that's just me. I love ESPN's EPL coverage, and I love the team of Darke/McManaman. ESPN has definitely upped its soccer coverage in the past couple years, and I hope this doesn't dissuade them from putting effort next year in Poland/Ukraine and in 2014 in Brazil. They had even bidded on Copa America this summer, which would have been great to bring to the network. To offset this loss, I'd love to see them capture another EPL game per weekend, or gain rights to another decent tournament.
FOX has seven years to move FSC to more households in the United States. If they even dare to put a WC game on a network that very few people have, the cry will be outrageous. In addition, ESPN3 >>>> FOX's online streaming service.
I dislike ESPN's biased coverage in regards to college football, LeBron, Favre, among others, but I truly feel soccer was something ESPN had right (besides Alexi Lalas). -
Laley23Ill agree that ESPN does a great job with soccer. But FOX will have way more going for them with the WC. They arent gonna have their NFL coverage team anchoring the booth like they did for the UCL Final. Id be stunned if they didnt bring over the announcers ESPN has right now and even the booth guys. FOX is superior in ability if they put the effort and money into it. With it being the World Cups, Id expect they will make it a top notch performance. The biggest thing is the stations...But FX is a big station. I actually wouldnt be shocked if they went with the morning and afternoon games on FOX with the middle game on FX and then had FSC brought to more households (even if only for a free month preview or something) and had FSC be booth analysis and recap all day long.
