  Let me see if I can sort this out:
  
  1. SOS cries for PI or Illegal contact (whatever claim he's using)
  2. Laley shows a link that says once a QB is out of the pocket (which Tebow was ) those contact rules are void until the ball enters the air.
  3. Our resident referee has noted that Laley is right
  4. SOS still hasn't admitted he's wrong and Laley is right, and continues to slob on the Tebow knob while irreverently claiming to be right about something he's wrong about.
  
  Did I miss anything substantive?

  Automatik, I've met Tim a few times, and his parents. You sound butt hurt that Tebow is as good as I said, better than Orton. All of the trolls are wrong, so you keep posting vulgar remarks to deflect the truth. Deal with it. You hate him because he destroyed OSU? Why the hate? Why can't I be a fan of a player I know and like? If the assholes on this board were obsessed with hating another player I liked, I'd defend the truth there too.
  Doesn't matter if Denver still blows, Tebow is proving he is better than Orton. That's my point.

  I have nothing against Tebow, he seems like a standup guy and was one hell of a college player. My point is your constant defending and whining about him is pathetic. The haters will always hate...you haven't figured that out?

  The only difference is that it was a hail mary type of play. They tend to let them play just a little bit more in those instances. You wont see a PI unless the guy going up for the ball is mugged or hindered quite a bit by the defender. The case in point was a guy was pushed outta the end zone. good chance they didnt even see it. Just like in hoops at the end of the game under the basket they let the play go a little bit, and baseball is a bit different meaning maybe they let a player/manager spout off a little bit more before tossing him. Many times in hockey at the very end when it becomes a shooting gallery by the losing team they let it get a little more physical than normal
  
  
  Never been a Tebow fan, but I am not a Tebow hater at all. I am just indifferent. The thing is this....he brought some energy to the offense. For whatever reason, some QB's just have that extra charisma that makes other guys want to perform better. I think they gotta play him to see if he can be the franchise guy. Orten isnt the man. Barbie Quinn didnt do anything in Cleveland and obviously isnt impressing in practice so why not try it?
  He may be one of those guys who just supply a short term spark and cannot be the every sunday guy, but he is a winner, and teammates seem to rally around him in Fla and in Denver.

  In his defense, Tebow only played a fraction of that game. Hard for any QB to come on in in the second half after down by a couple of scores already.
  
  Plus, backup QB's dont get many practice reps. Between Orten and Barbie, I bet he doesnt get many snaps in practice so he can be fully prepared for gameday.
  
  At this poing, they need to turn the reigns over to him and see if he can indeed lead a team.

  You didnt cry for a flag. But you basically laughed at me for applauding the play of the DB. Im not sure if the ball was in the air or not, as I havent seen a replay side by side in realtime of the push and Tebow throwing it. I think it would be close, but I think the push came first.
  
  I said that the Illegal Contact rules are vacated when a QB leaves the pocket. You laughed at me and told me to show a link. I did that. You then proceeded to try and read the rule in some sort of dyslexic way....at least thats the only conclusion I can find for how you can interpret a rule/reading so poorly.
  
  If you call me out for posting I think someone is making a great play within the rules because you think Im wrong. Then I show you the damn rule....admit it. Dont say he "was more than 5 yards downfield" because if you can comprehend what you read, its pretty obvious that rule GOES AWAY!!!
