As far as Steve Smith goes, doesn't matter what he's "narrowed it down to." I believe he's not a free agent so Carolina doesn't have to do anything with him. Don't know if I'd want him anyway...shitty teammate.

Yeah definitely agree about Baltimore's window. This is the last year I am going to feel 100 percent confident in their chances. Like I said before I know Flacco isn't elite. I think he has the ability but I don't see the intangibles yet. His main problem is that his feathers get ruffled way too easily. As for Steve Smith I assumed he was a free agent or this wouldn't have been a story on the Raven's website but I guess I could be wrong.

Locked up through 2012 but it's believed the rebuilding Panthers will want to dump him...

Understood on Flacco. He has all of the physical skills but not sure if he has that "it" factor. A lot of that will change if he learns how to consistently get the Pittsburgh "monkey" off his back.

I'll be watching the Bengals a little more this year. Jay Gruden was fun to watch in Orlando as Predators QB & coach, and he was a great coach in the UFL. He has his work cut out as OC in Cincy, especially with the late start. If Palmer don't play, Dalton could have a good season with Jay teaching him and they could surprise some people. Dalton has been getting ready.

Ah so the Steve Smith story was just a result of the boredom of the off season.

Maybe they got him confused with the NYG's Steve Smith. He IS a FA. ;)

Kevin Kolb is already looking at real estate in Arizona per Sal Paolantonio. Sounds like Kolb to the Cards is going to happen. Sal did say that the Eagles want Rogers-Cromartie in the deal somehow, some way. He's got to be included in the deal.
  • SportsAndLady
If Arizona is going to offer a 1st and 3rd, like many in Philly believe...they have to take that deal, rogers-cromartie involved or not.

AZ would be stupid as Hell to give up a 1st, 3rd AND Rogers-Cromartie.
  • bigdaddy2003
Yeah I concur. Kolb hasn't even proved himself yet.

    No, I didn't mean 1st, 3rd, and R-C.

I'm saying I am hearing 1st and 3rd for Kolb...you take that, imo.

More from NFL Network: Vikes and Skins have parameters of a deal for McNabb but agreeing on financial terms with him could be tricky...
