Brady could make it very tough on Brees and Sean Payton if he has a big day and the 49'ers have their game in hand.Tiger2003;1027858 wrote:Brady is behind Drew by 190 yards and Rodgers is 444 yards behind Drew. -

Even if Brady throws for 400 Drew only needs to throw for 200. -

Question is does Payton leave Brees in long enough to keep the record if Brady has a big day? I guarantee the Saints will have someone tracking Brady's stats and reporting to Payton during the game.Tiger2003;1028126 wrote:Even if Brady throws for 400 Drew only needs to throw for 200. -

Why will Brees be out of the game anytime before the 4th quarter? They have a chance for the #2 seed. Rams will have to be down by 35 pts in the 4th for Brees to come out I would think.Skyhook79;1028150 wrote:Question is does Payton leave Brees in long enough to keep the record if Brady has a big day? 35? no way that much. I say closer to 15 -20 the Rams are not scoring much if at all against that 49'er defense. No way the Saints risk Brees getting hurt especially without the bye week.Laley23;1028267 wrote:Why will Brees be out of the game anytime before the 4th quarter? They have a chance for the #2 seed. You think the Saints are going to assume an NFL team cant come back from 15 pts? lolSkyhook79;1028275 wrote:35? no way that much. I say closer to 15 -20 the Rams are not scoring much if at all against that 49'er defense. No way the Saints risk Brees getting hurt especially without the bye week. -

The Rams? haha You do realize they have scored a total of 26 pts in their last 4 games right? and the 49er's have one of the best defense's in the league and they shut out the Rams 4 weeks ago.Laley23;1028276 wrote:You think the Saints are going to assume an NFL team cant come back from 15 pts? lol -

rams beat the saints earlier this year...kindly go fuck yourselfSkyhook79;1028281 wrote:The Rams? haha You do realize they have scored a total of 26 pts in their last 4 games right? and the 49er's have one of the best defense's in the league and they shut out the Rams 4 weeks ago. -

I am not the one who thinks they are going to score.Skyhook79;1028281 wrote:The Rams? haha You do realize they have scored a total of 26 pts in their last 4 games right? and the 49er's have one of the best defense's in the league and they shut out the Rams 4 weeks ago.
But if Im the coach of an NFL team, and another game is close, no way I pull Brees. Why take the chance? Rams pulling an upset is probably about 50 times more likely than Brees getting hurt. -

They are playing the 49er defense not the Saints defense.DeyDurkie5;1028283 wrote:rams beat the saints earlier this year...kindly go fuck yourself -

15-20 pts in the 4th quarter isn't a close game when the Rams are involved. It only takes 1 good hit to knock Brees out. It would take a semi-miracle for the Rams to make up 15-20 pts against the 49'ers in 1 quarter. 50 x's more likely? I know you really don't believe that.Laley23;1028284 wrote:I am not the one who thinks they are going to score.

Terry_TateI think the Saints made it pretty clear last night they want Brees to have the record, so if they're up 49-0 and he somehow needs 30 yards they'll be out there passing.

I think they made it pretty clear they wanted him to break the record last night so they could rest him if possible in their last game. I guess we will see how it plays out.Terry_Tate;1028303 wrote:I think the Saints made it pretty clear last night they want Brees to have the record, so if they're up 49-0 and he somehow needs 30 yards they'll be out there passing. -

That's partially right, but last night loses a lot of meaning if Brady breaks it this week. They'll let Brees do whatever it takes to keep the record. -

Maybe, maybe not. Id be pissed if my coach took stuff like that for granted. The Saints and Sean Payton didnt get where they are by counting W and L before the final whistle.Skyhook79;1028291 wrote:15-20 pts in the 4th quarter isn't a close game when the Rams are involved. Ironman92Not siding with anyone as I believe Brees will go for near 300 yards regardless, but unfortunately I have seen the Rams each of the past two weeks. Two weeks ago their defense was very intense with Chris Long and Laurenitis all over the field....but last week at Pittsburgh they weren't even trying it looked. Zero energy and even less passion. I'm not sure the Rams will even battle.

tk421If Brady had 11 dome games like Brees, he'd be the one breaking the record.
