  I thought he did a great job managing Lebron's ego and then when you look at the rest of the team, it wasn't that impressive.
  
  Scott could end up being a good coach for them, I don't know. I just probably would have went another direction than Scott. He has failed in other cities and then had a team quit on him during his last stop

  I dont think I have ever seen a coach make an adjustment slower than Mike Brown. I still get annoyed when I think about the way that he managed that Magic series a few years ago

  Mike Brown is a very good coach who got a raw deal by Gilbert. But at the same time I understood it. He will land eventually even if not with the Lakers.

  Was a good defensive coach, but his offensive....not so much at all.
  
  Personally I think he was kinda overrated, plug just about any coach into that system with lebron and they get you 55-60 wins

  Mike Brown was carried by LeBron. Defensively he was good but doesn't know shit about offense. If he improves his offensive coaching ability he could be a good coach.

  Brownie was an awesome coach, The Cavs with LeBron weren't shit untill he arrived. With Brownie, you either played defense or you sat...and that's the way it should be. These NBA fucks know that their offensive numbers are the negotiation chips come contract time. The defensive side of the ball is all on the coach's ability to motivate. There is a reason why Thibideau won coach of the year, It's called defense and winning.
  
  Of all the coaches LA could intervierw...it's Brownie. There's a reason for that. He's a winner...and a real class act. My Cav buds have been hoodwinked by the media regarding Brown. Best coach we've had for a long, long time.

  His offense was send shooters to the corner and watch lebron take people 1 on 1. Even die hard cavs fans will admit he ran almost zero set plays or anything. It was pretty much "Lebron, go do your thing, okay break."

  Not until late in the 4th quarter. The Cavs scored plenty of points in their record setting seasons.

  This is a joke, right? LBJ often "tuned out" Brown on the bench during games. You can see him doing the same to Spo in Miami.

  Oh well. "If" that is true, it worked. The team was wildly successful during his run and it gets more impressive by the day when you consider that Mo was the number two option. An offense centered around Lebron was their best option

  I agree with HB, Brown is a solid defensive coach but had no idea on how to run an offense. Some of his decisions against the Magic and Celtics were laughable

  Brown was a good coach I thought. I didn't think he got a raw deal with Gilbert, you couldn't keep him once LeBron left. I think Byron Scott is a good fit anyways, like someone else said, especially if they get Irving. I'd say Brown could be a good coach again, he's a great defensive coach, but I will be shocked if the Lakers grab him. There certainly will be a lot of Laker fans that HATE it if they do.

  Yawn. We all bought into that, people told us we were wrong before we knew so we just couldn't see it. The pieces were NOT in place. No team will ever win a title with Mo Williams as their second option and guys like Varejao, Parker, and Delonte West being big contributors.

  We will have to agree to disagree with this one. I think the Cavs had the pieces in place, always will. There was something going on behind closed that caused the Cavs to fall apart. Go watch game 5 again and tell me something wasnt going on with Lebron.
  
  Thats another argument. Bottom line is that Mike Brown was in over his head. He failed to make necessary adjustments time and time again and it cost him his job.
