devil1197Aww there is the Santana swing.
-
devil1197I'll take this road trip but we left some games on the table.
Rays up next. -
BR1986FBFought til the end but the bullpen shit in their hat.
-
grodtNot disappointed with a west coast split at all especially against those two pitching staffs, but I definitely felt like we left a lot on the table.
-
iclfan2Ballgame. Can't complain about a 3-3 west coast trip. That said, I think there are some questionable calls in this one. One of which is playing Kearns (I know he had an rbi) and Everett. Another is taking out Perez. Yea you want the matchup, but I'm just not sure it is worth it all the time. Oh well, day off tomorrow, then we got TB.

Eh, whole team didn't play well. The errors cost them 3 runs on Fausto. -

Ever since he received the "most underrated/unheard of player" award by his peers in the league it's like he's been cursed (and stupid...DUI). -
OQBStandard....
Picture perfect scenario...2 doubles and a guy on 2nd with the #3 and #4 hitters up and they both go down on strikes.
SMH, oh well we still went .500 on the road trip. -

Agree with that. I was thinking more Joe Smith than anything. -
september63Adam Everett error cost the Indians 3 runs. Lost 6-5. You do the math.
-
OQBSure we are all very frustrated about a few of these games on this road trip.....BUT we all know we will lose games this season, it's part of baseball! Let me remind you that the Indians are
Still a top the AL Central!
All is good in Tribe Country, let's get rested up and get ready for the Rays back at The Jake...oh I mean Progressive Field! -

I was saying the error cost them the game. Frustrated, yes. One thing you wont see me doing though is ever questioning Manny Acta's decisions. -
september63OQB, quit murdering ppl in Orrville. I didnt think that stuff happened there?
-
jspitaleriGoing into the road trip, I said I would be happy going 3-3. Could have done better, but I am happy with the split. Still have the lead in the division and have to keep winning games. They are in every game so far and that is very promising.

Very good point! -

Lot of garbage runs, the tribe dominated that series. (lol). -

Umm.....I don't think that is a very good topic to try and make a joke about. You're right, it doesn't happen here and that is a very tragic situation, not to mention the person is still out there who did it. I personally didn't know the young lady, but I know in a small town like Orrville something like this is big news and rarely happens. It also puts in perspective that the game of baseball is just that... a game and that is nowhere near the importance of someone's life. -
THE4RINGZ7th homicide in Wayne Country in the last 12 months.
-
OQBSure that is Wayne County Ringz...but it doesn't happen in Orrville on a regular basis. This is the first homicide in Orrville since 2008, and we have only had 2 total since 2000.

OK, I was wrong in the joking about a loss of life. I'll admit to being stupid on that comment. -

He also had 2 infield hits, on good pitches. Though, the 2 run 2B was a bad pitch. The whole fucking series was BS lol. Ill take a split on the road trip, and we gutted out a win versus Weaver. But shit, how many infield singles did they get. 3 runs on a pretty easy play at 3rd, and we smoked some balls right at guys. It was just "one of those series", but the good thing is, despite that, we grinded (not a word I know) out 3 of the 6 games and come back home after a WC trip with the lead STILL at 4.5 games. -

Exactly. The team did not catch any breaks and they split on the trip....each game was frustrating, but in the end...no complaints. I cannot remember a team giving up more 45 ft basehits in a six game set...lmao -
OQBWho is starting the Tampa Bay thread??
