  The reason they seem to like Kanter so much is because they think he would pair well with McGee in the front court, and I have read from multiple sources that the Wiz are not going to trade McGee.

  I don't like the Wiz trade..I like the idea of packaging our 2nd round picks for another 1st..2nd round picks are almost worthless; late 1st round picks (20-32) are not great, but there is a better chance of hitting on someone there.

  I wouldnt want anything to do with Blatche. My lasting image of him is that time he kept trying to get that elusive last rebound for his triple double. He was almost taking the ball from teammates and was running noticably faster than he had all game in thefinal minute. One of his teammates snatched the final rebound as time expired and Blatche threw his arms up in disbelief. Reminded me of Ricky Davis
  
  Dude just doesnt seem like a winner. Has a bad attitude too. He is a great fantasy player though

  I would be alright with this. It sounds like the Cavs arent the only ones that like Jonas more than Kanter. I would be happy with any of the following at 18

  San Antonio has Parker on the block for a lottery pick. I don't want him in Cleveland. But I'm guessing some team will at least look into it.

  For some odd reason I can see the Spurs(my 2nd favorite NBA team because of Duncan, who I have been a fan since the days of teamming with Rusy LaRue and Tony Rutland) trading Parker to Minnesota for the 2nd pick and Johnny Flynn and have Parker team with Rubio. Then with the 2nd pick they take Derrick Williams. I am probably way off base though and they will probably take a foreign kid who will be a stud.

  Eh not really. Derrick Williams is much more explosive and has a more consistent J right now. Also is a better athlete and stronger (JJ is 6'10 like 220)

  Despite the fact that the Grizzlies have gone on the record repeatedly that they will not trade Rudy Gay, the team is undoubtedly giving it some consideration as they move forward.
  
  According to Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio, the Cavaliers are actively exploring a deal to land Gay using the team's trade exception that they received for the LeBron James sign-and-trade to Miami.
  
  The Cavaliers would finally be able to land a small forward to anchor their starting lineup, and pairing Gay with Kyrie Irving on draft night would represent a major upgrade for Cleveland.
  
  The Grizzlies played their best basketball of the season last year once Gay went down with his season-ending shoulder injury, and it wouldn't be surprising to see them pull the trigger on this very attractive trade to accrue some financial relief and continue to get younger.

  The Cleveland Cavaliers are known to be shopping the fourth overall pick in an attempt to fill multiple needs on the roster, and it appears that they may have found a willing taker.
  
  ProBasketballDraft.com reports that this is a very real scenario being discussed between both clubs, as the Wizards' interest in Kanter is very real.
  
  The Turkish prospect has already stated his affinity to play for the Wizards because of his noted friendship with franchise point guard John Wall, and the interest between parties now seems mutual.
  
  It's a steep price for Washington to pay in order to move up just two slots, but if Washington wants to have a chance at Kanter, this is the only way they'll be able to nab him. If Cleveland holds onto the pick, they're expected to draft the center at No. 4.
  
  Cleveland would still be able to land an impact player at No. 6 while acquiring an additional first-round selection that would allow the team to build upon its depth moving forward.
  
  The Cavs know that they have multiple areas of deficiency to address, and stockpiling draft selections would be the first step in a long process toward achieving that goal.

  I wouldn't have a huge problem with that since I think there isn't a ton of separation between irving and knight. That is a huge risk though...just assuming knight will be there at 4. I personally like the Rudy Gay thing...that would be amazing although, not sure how much Gay has left on his current deal.

  However, Knight is going to Utah, there is no way he's there at 4. If he is, I'll be shocked.

  Minny is trading that pick if Williams is gone. No way Kahn does that with Flynn, Rubio, and Ridenour on the roster. Plus somebody will swoop in and offer a nice package for the right to pick Irving. Minnesota doesnt want the Cavs to pick Williams
