Not in order at all, but off the top of my head those are the only players above Melo, im sure i missed 1 maybe 2 players, but id love to see 14 players listed better than Melo
I would put Gasol and CP3 above Melo also, not because they are better basketball players necessarily but I would pick them before Melo on my team. Melo is top 10 for sure.

Putting Horford and Aldridge in the same list as Carmelo is laughable.

The guy who routinely is pwned about NBA knowledge and said that Anderson Varejao wasn't a good player is trying to mock me? Thats laughable.

Yeah. I actually laughed out loud when I saw that there are self-proclaimed NBA experts who would rather have Horford, Aldridge, and Duncan over Carmelo Anthony today. Listfail. Pwned.

And the West is getting easier and easier for the Lakers. All of the star power in that conference is shifting to the East. L.A. don't have to go through the likes of a Boston, Miami, Knicks, and/or Bulls to make the finals. If they can just get pass San Antonio, they are fine.

I could def see an argument for those players. I know Melo isnt like top 5 in the league but I agree hes top 10. For someone to say outside the top 15 is flat out funny however, opinion or not

Carmelo Anthony has made the All NBA 3rd team three times and 2nd team once. That alone suggests he falls between 10-15.
  • Hb31187
Or that suggests that the best or 2nd best depending on who you ask, player in the NBA plays his position

has lemarcus aldridge been all nba?
    Blake Griffin been all nba?
You keep trying too hard to prove your point

Not that I agree with your premise but using the same fact you used, I could say he ranks somewhere between 6-11.

I would take D Will over Melo. I definitely think he's the better player, and I'd say he's the top point guard in the league.

The Jazz made out pretty well though. Harris was an all-star 2 years ago, Favors was just the #3 pick and has a ton of potential, and they might end up getting 2 other lottery picks out of it.

Ya'll are nuts. Melo is arguably (by REAL NBA experts who are paid to study the NBA) the most versatile scorer (read it on twitter, forget who, either Hollinger or Bucher) in the league. He might not play defense and that's why he's 2nd or 3rd team NBA, but in terms of offensive ability he's first team all NBA without a doubt.

HB, you've watched Melo for 7.5 years in Denver, I think you'd agree.

I wasnt the one rating either of those two ahead of Melo. All ive said was Deron Williams is ahead of Melo.

You could say he ranks somewhere between 2 and 11. If he is the second best in the league but the best player happens to play the same position...

Everyone has opinions. CBS Sports writers get paid to cover the league too. They have Carmelo #18 and Williams # 12.

And those same rankings have Griffin at #4....

Just saying. Kind of loses all credibility IMO.

Yes I would Agree, he has everything but a 3 point shot in his offensive arsenal. He literally has every other type of offensive move you can think of. Post up, Midrange, finish above the rim, finish with contact, cross over, quick first step, size ect ect

He isnt prolific, but he does have 3 pt range. I mean, if he is open, he can hit the shot.

A great PG is more valuable than a stat sheet volume scorer who in completely uninterested in playing defense. Williams is a top 5 player in the league, while Melo is a ~ top 15-20 player.

    Holy shit, you're an idiot.

Nene is not happy in Denver.. and they wanna get rid of Felton..

Not exactly in that order but I'd put Melo at the bottom of that list.
