karen lotzTim Hudson looks to be in good position to run his career record to 132-2 when given a 3 run lead.

Tiger2003I definitely think Baltimore is going to surprise some people in the AL East. Under Buck Showalter he has lad the Orioles to a 37-23 record.
-
jordo212000Baltimore has a nice lineup, but not enough pitching imo

Commander of AwesomeThey're a fun team to watch though, I really enjoy watching Adam Jones play, he's underrated.

Yeah he sucks.
Also, I have real problem with ESPN's Power Rankings.
Yankees with 1 loss at #1, eh.
But the White Sox(4), who were blown out by the Indians are ahead of the Reds(5). WTF?
Oh and the WINLESS Red Sox at 7 and the Dodgers who took 2 of 3 from the World Champs are at 10
Obviously these mean nothing, but man oh man. -

lol at having a problem with power rankings after only 3 days of baseball. Actually lol at power rankings after only 3 days of baseball. -

I have no problem with power rankings after four days of baseball. Its meaningless anyways but its fun to kind of look at it in a way of "ok we're 3-4 games in but here is how we rank the teams based on what we've seen so far." If you're going to ignore that and rank them based on potential, its retarded.

karen lotzJack Wilson turned a ridiculous double play today.

Mooney44CardsHey Reds fans, Aaron Harang had a GREAT outing today against the Giants: 6.0 IP, 6 hits, 1 ER, 2 BB, 6 Ks and the W
Not usually one to sit around and dwell on what former players do for other clubs, but Harang is one guy I happen to kinda be cheering for (as long as he's not playing the Reds). -

Yeah we all praised his efforts on today's game thread...I think I speak for all of Reds fans in saying I wish nothing but the best for Harang. -
HereticAppendix issues plaguing big name players. Matt Holliday had to have his removed after the first game of the season and now, it seems Adam Dunn had his removed.

That took an incredible amount of body control to swipe the bag with his back leg. -
Mooney44CardsInventor of baseball Tony LaRussa loses his mind on the media after the Cardinals lose to the Pirates.
No TLR, what's not fair is these reporters are asking the questions that readers/viewers/fans are asking, and you are biting their head off for asking them.Tony LaRussa wrote:"For everybody listening out there (TV audience), you think I'm being unreasonable? It's the FIRST WEEK OF THE SEASON. I don't understand this. Are you going to tell me Yadier doesn't drive in big runs? Are you going to tell me Albert can't hit? Are you going to tell me the second baseman and shortstops haven't hit? David Freese? You don't think he's going to hit? You think Matt's gong to hit? You think Colby's going to hit? You think Berkman's going to hit? The answer is 'no' to all those things?'
Did you (interrogators) accomplish your goal? Three, four times, you ask so I get excited and get upset? That's not fair. It really isn't.
Cardinals are a bunch of bitches. -
Tiger2003Damn the Royals really blew one today. Up 3 on the White Sox with 2 outs and nobody on and Chicago comes back and takes the lead 7-6. KC did tack one on in the bottom of the 9th but the Sox score 3 runs in the 12 to win it.
