safe, Prince had already grabbed the plate and eaten it by the time that pic was taken.
  • justincredible
    Definitely safe. Not even close.
  • Terry_Tate
I tell you what, it would be a tough call without those white lines on the left to help illustrate that he was clearly safe.

    Agreed.

    SMH at the Red Sox.

Boston finally wins one, 9-6 over the Yankees.
  • Laley23
Rays in line for their first win of the year, following a big top of the 9th.
  • THE4RINGZ
    Huge 9th.

cool start to the baseball season

some of the traditional weaklings are looking more talented and competitive (Baltimore, KC, Pittsburgh)

Hahaha saw that during the game and lol'd. I have a difficult time believing Fielder is a vegetarian.

Phillies take 2 of 3 from the Braves. Cole really dominated the Atlanta hitters striking out 8 and allowing 4 hits in 7 innings of work.
  • Heretic
Twins getting blasted 10-5 by KC. What's happened to Liriano? Saw his ERA is over 9.50 right now. Only three starts into the season, but he's getting off to the sort of start that Charlie Morton did with Pittsburgh last year.

Braves in the process of being no hit.
  • SportsAndLady
Josh Johnson is really fucking good
  • karen lotz
Yeah he is looking especially filthy tonight.
  • karen lotz
Johnson thru 7 but is up to 105 pitches. He has 9 strikeouts and only given up 3 walks. There is activity in the bullpen for the Marlins.
  • karen lotz
Freddie Freeman breaks it up with a bloopers double down the LF line. Johnson is done, thank god.

Chipper gets his 1500th RBI on a solo HR to join Eddie Murray as the only 2 switch hitters in history to have 2500 hits and 1500 RBI. Only bright spot of the night for my Bravos.

Rockies are off to a good start. Tulo has to be the front runner for MVP at this very early stage.

Agreed. But Voto is right there as well.
  • karen lotz
I've already said Votto is the best hitter in baseball history, what more do you want from me? :)
  • like_that
Unreal that Votto and Kemp are batting .444 and .474
