Bengals Bandwagon Officially Parked?

se-alumNo game thread this week, and the "Who Dey" Facebook statuses are extinct!

justincredibleThe Browns suck too. Shouldn't this be in the basement?
-
se-alumIt should be now, since you're trolling it!!

Are you surprised? Bengals fans are amongst the worse in the NFL. -
jordo212000Game isn't on TV here. Not sure how I can comment without seeing the game? If there was a thread most of us would be discussing who to draft. Which has been done to death.
You gotta love when Browns fans start beating their chests because they suck "less". You can tell its been a while since they have won anything -
Terry_TateI'm heading down to the game today. Not expecting a large crowd to show up, and can't blame them. Freezing cold day after Christmas, Ocho and TO out, an awful QB and one of the worst owners in sports. There are a lot of bandwagon fans for the Bengals but I would never expect them to pack the house today.

Aww, are you "butt hurt" from the truth? -
LJsince Justin offered his opinion...
Bengals fans are some of the most delusional chest beating bandwagon fans I have ever seen. -
SportsAndLadyI feel like calling them 'bandwagon fans' is giving them too much credit, because it has "fan" in it
-
stroupsBlow me, I have been a bengals fan all my life. Im not excited to watch them but im not going to cheer for someone else. If I made it through akili(sp) Smith I can make it through this.
-
slide22I hope so. Bengal fans are the biggest bunch of bandwagon fans in the league. Granted, there are a few die-hards, but there are plenty you never hear from when they are losing.

I would say at least 3/4 of Bengals "fans" in Columbus disappear when they are losing -

I would have to say the same regarding all of southwest ohio. -
gerb131Bengals fan still alive here. Just not much to talk about the rest of the year....I hope we take out the Chargers I could possibly hate them more than Pitts...nah Pitts is the worse.

jordo212000
Isn't that what you would expect? Haha. How moronic would we sound if we were running our jibs when we were headed to a 2 win season?but there are plenty you never hear from when they are losing.
I love how some Cleveland fans keep their mind off how bad they are/have been by trolling Bengal fans. You guys just lost again today haha. You are in no position to run your mouths -

There's a 125+ post thread on the Browns/Ravens game, and no one was running jibs (whatever the fuck that means)...we were just talking about the game and our team...aka, being fans. Not just talking about them when our team is good. -
se-alum
Yea, not sure why one would have to run their jib, when they can just discuss their favorite teams game.jordo212000;613827 wrote:Isn't that what you would expect? Haha. How moronic would we sound if we were running our jibs when we were headed to a 2 win season?

Not everyone on this thread is a Browns fan. Nice fail. Keep crying because you are butt hurt. -
jordo212000It is really no different than how Cavs fans have reacted this year. I mean we had to listen to some goobers try and say that they were going to make the playoffs this year along with all the other nonsense they spewed all preseason. Now there is rarely any conversation regarding the Cavs.
This is a far cry from last season when there was a game thread every night. How come that hasn't been going on still haha? You guys were supposed to be winning a title before Lebron! -

Nice spin. -

Far from it actually haha. If you get your jollies by camping on Bengal related threads and beat your chest because you guys suck slightly less than we do, well that's just fine. I promise you that you cannot make me mad.
Like I've said before, I am not looking forward to the day where you guys somehow miraculously find your way to the playoffs again. You guys are already sooo arrogant as it is. You'd think you were the ones who just made the playoffs haha.
I guess the difference between our fanbases is that we aren't delusional and we have more important things to do than beat a dead horse. We know we aren't good this year, we know Palmer is done and we need a QB, and we know Ocho & TO are taking their talents elsewhere. The team plays uninspired football and shows little heart. It is hard to get behind a team like that and support them when you can tell they are just putting in their time. I've got better things to do than post game updates for a sinking ship that isn't even on tv. Sorry, but I do not want to watch the ESPN gamecast. -
HereticAhh...don't worry. I'm sure that sometime in the next decade, they'll be .500 or so and their fans will come back out of the woodwork claiming they're thisclose to the Super Bowl.

Just from a quick glance, it appears that you and like_that made about 115 of those posts. I guess if I posted a whole bunch of times on a Bengal thread and inflated the number to around 125, then that would automatically make our fanbase as "good" as your's, right? -

Wrong again. There were more than 10 posters talking about the game, just from looking at the last couple pages.
Then again, Browns fans don't have to prove their allegiance to their team, it's assumed....Bengals fans on the other hand? -
