Yeah.... Still nobody bragged about the Browns fan base until jordo started making remarks about the fan base....

Also, as pointed out before, not everyone on this thread is a Browns fan.

I guess I just have a different take on Bengals fans since I live in Cincinnati. The city loves the team. Every Sunday, no matter where you go people are decked out in their Bengals gear. Before I had Sunday ticket and had to go to bars to catch Jets games the bars would be full of Bengals fans watching the games. Just because they don't have a huge national following like the Steelers or the Browns doesn't mean they're a piece of shit fan base. Mike Brown has completely fucked the franchise and I'd find it extremely tough to hand him my money season after season knowing that the team will never legitimately compete while he is at the helm.

I am part of the delusional fan base I suppose. I live in NC, drive or fly to Cincy at least three times a year, go to Baltimore, or any game in the South when they are here, and re-up the season tickets every year.

They may be horrifically mismanaged castoffs, but they are our misfits.

Here's my conversation with my friend who is the biggest Bengals fan I know, I think this is typical of their fanbase.

" me: I cant believe how bad the bengals pwned the chargers
Sent at 1:19 PM on Monday
    friend: did we win?
    me: are you serious?
    friend: yea
    i dont watch them anymore
better shit to do with my time"

I was at Willies in West Chester 2 of the last 3 weeks, there were about 5 Bengals fans each game and about 20 fans of other teams.

So I call bullshit on your statement.

I live in the city limits. West Chester is essentially Dayton.

Ok. My statement was about the city of Cincinnati. West Chester is not the city of Cincinnati. I don't go to West Chester on Sunday's.

So Bengals fans 20 min outside the city "don't count"?

They do, but they are irrelevant to my statement.

I don't know why I am arguing this. My team is in the playoffs and I couldn't really care less about the Browns or Bengals.

I don't call bullshit on your statement Justin. Yesterday The Wife accidentally wore an orange fleece with black sweats to Krogers. She got a few smiled and a who dey or two before she realized what colors she was wearing. She thought ah Shit, they think I drank the kool aid.

What is your statement? That the city loves the Bengals?

Yes. The city, as in the area I live in. The place I am at 17 out of 17 weeks, not 2 out of 3.

So the one place you go to is filled with Bengals fans...even if that were true, you're trying to tell me the city of Cincinnati LOVES the Bengals because one sports bar in Cincinnati is filled with Bengals fans every week?

I dont go to bars on sunday any more, I have Sunday ticket. I'm talking places like the grocery store (before the blackouts my wife planned grocery trips during the games because kroger would be empty), restaurants, target, etc.

Lol so you're gonna sell the Bengals' fans fanhood on the fact that they don't watch the actual game, instead they do their grocery shopping, eat, and go shopping during those times? Oh but wait...they have a Bengals shirt on and say "whodey" to people!

Did I say during the games? I said sunday's. As in before and after the games.

I know it's in the Cincinnati metro area. The Dayton comment was sarcasm because West Chester is outside of the 275 loop. My point was the area that I frequent on Sunday's, i.e. within the city limits of Cincinnati, there are tons of Bengals fans still decked out in Bengals gear saying the annoying Who Dey thing, even if a little quieter than at the beginning of the season.
