Edit- forgot you beat the bengals inbetween them. 1-2 over 3 weeks, my mistake.
And the Browns lost by 18 to a team that got manhandled by a finesse team and taken to the woodshed by the Saints. And since 18 points is a larger margin of victory than both of those games (13, 10) what clever word/phrase would you use to describe the Steelers 28-10 victory over the Browns? Woeful, manhandled, taken behind the woodshed, something different????? -

Remember last year Oakland at Pittsburgh?..."West coast team traveling east for early kickoff"...Raiders won. -

Shittsburgh wasn't playing a rookie QB in his first start + on the road. they had a 2 time SB winning POS behind center, #1 defense in the league and got their asses handed to them. If they hadn't cheap shotted MoMass and Cribbs wouldn't have been as big a margin of victory, so congrats on your scum bag team. -

Looks like a lot of excuses to me. I wanted a clever word or phrase to describe the 28-10 Steeler win over the Browns and I get a song and dance. Just cut to the chase this time. -
Commander of AwesomeOk well let the Browns play you against your 3rd string QB and without your top 2 WRs. Sorry the browns loss is a bit more explainable/respectable that what steeler fans were privy to against the Saints/Patriots.

Why? Because the Browns beat 2 of the better teams in football and lost in OT to another one, and so that makes us optimistic? Why's that make us so funny? Remember how bad the Titans were last year? Remember their turn around? You make some positive changes with your team, and that's what you're gonna get--a better team. -

They're not used to having 3 wins this early in the season, plus they're not in their usual last place. They cant handle all the success they're having. -

You'll have to pardon the lack of sympathy this Steeler fan has for another team with injuries/missing key players. We've had our fair share this season too. It's the NFL...nobody feels sorry for you so you've got to find ways to overcome it.
Oh, just heard that Jeff Reed got cut. Good. -

I'll eat my words. Per 93.7 The Fan......Reed is gone! -
HereticReplaced by Shane Suisham, it seems. Reed had a good run, both in kicking for the team and in creating amusing drunken episodes/legal issues, but his time was up with his erratic performance this year. Missing that chip shot and then blaming it on the turf was just the final straw.

It's Sean Sushi. Get it right. -

You're both wrong. It's Shaun. -
outdoorsmanThis Raider team is much improved and will give the Steelers a fight.
In my opinion, I feel the Steelers need to use the passing game to open up the run. I know that is not the school of thought for most but, Its what I feel will win more games. The issue with the Steelers now, is defense than any other. Once again, the Steelers secondary is being exsposed. -
Commander of AwesomeI mentioned the secondary before the game against the Patriots. My comment was disputed. Idiot steeler fans not knowing their team.

wes_mantoothAm I the only one that gets a headache from opening these Browns/Steelers pissing match threads?

I might be getting one from that...or it might be because I haven't eaten since about 8:30 a.m. and that was just a light meal. I should leave work and eat something, so I can see if it's the pissing match threads or hunger causing my headache. -

While not overly familiar with the argument concerning disputing comments about their secondary, I do have to say that while CB is the on-paper weakest part of the defense, the way Sunday's game went down, Brady would have shredded any secondary. I don't know if it's the injuries to Keisel and Smith (and Harrison, as I recall him being questionable up to the game...and Timmons, who left) affecting the pass rush, but if you're not getting pressure on Brady, he'll eat you for lunch. I remember at one point in the second half, they compared the teams' pass rushing stats and Pittsburgh was rarely even hurrying him or knocking him down...let alone actually getting sacks. -

It irritates me too even though I engage in it from time to time. Rather than just blatantly insulting the Browns and their fans....I dispute the nonsense and inaccuracies posted by some on here. Or I'll attempt to engage in a debate and keep it respectful.
Some (COA, Modell) just shit-stir and insult the respective cities, fans, teams, etc. The Clowns. Shitsburgh. Yeah, well thought out contributions there. They just wanna cause trouble and insult. Nothing more, nothing less. -

Yea I remember that stat. They showed a graphic comparing the amount of hits on Pittsburgh QB to Brady. Some of that goes into playing style and trying to extend plays but it was still was a big difference. -

I stayed out of these threads until last 2 weeks. The trolling in the Cleveland threads got to be too much, it was me and 2 others trying to talk Browns football only to have to argue with idiot steeler trolls flooding the threads. Time for a taste of their own medicine. -

If you weren't trolling in the browns threads then it wouldn't be an issue. Troll my threads I'm trolling yours.
