End of the Line for Michael Vick?

Fabijan said time-stamped video shows the party crowd of approximately 300 exiting the restaurant as requested by security at 1:45 a.m., Friday. Vick and his entourage walked out the door between 1:55 and 2 a.m.
Vick, a Philadelphia Eagles quarterback from Newport News, stood outside the establishment until 2:07 shaking hands and signing autographs. He then got into the backseat of one of two cars parked in front of the restaurant.
At 2:10, shots rang out from the direction the two cars had traveled. Fabijan stressed that he is not saying Vick was involved in the shooting that wounded Quanis Phillips, a party attendee and a co-defendant of Vick's in the federal dogfighting case that sent both men to prison.
But Fabijan said he is disputing the account of Vick's lawyer, Larry Woodward, who claims that Vick "was long gone" when the shooting occurred.
Fabijan said that Vick's brother, Marcus, remained in the restaurant until about 2:23 a.m., settling with the entertainment company that rented Guadalajara for the party.

Yeah, I guess you're right....Having a hard time making a decision about ENDING YOUR PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL CAREER....And masterminding a dog fighting ring....Pretty much the same thing.

Are you a fucking idiot? I said their level of arrogance is equal , and making it all about them. I mentioned nothing of dogfighting, but when i originally put the two in the same sentence someone was speaking of arrogance. Now go back, put 2 and 2 together, and stfu. Thanks :)

Marcus Vick being involved is as unsurprising as the sun coming up this morning.

I don't know about Marcus, seems precise about him being inside until 2:23 on the video.
I can't believe the cops have not tracked down the white escalade. What were the 2 vehicles in Vick's entourage?

Bottom line, if my new neighbor is arrogant, (Brett), that sucks....But if he's arrogant, AND a criminal, (Vick)....That REALLY makes me uncomfortable.
  • rmolin73
Dude you're acting like Vick is robbing and killing people lol.
  • Strapping Young Lad
Yeah seriously. Mike Vick seems like the kind of guy who's far above robbing people. That's way too low class for Vick.

If Vick couldn't run my guess for him is career criminal. (make that career violent criminal).
  • Ender Wiggin
Lol, you really are a stupid stupid child. Also, what did I say that had anything to do with Al Sharpton? Im still waiting to hear what kind of bullshit youre going to pull out of your ass for that one haha

Next time speak english. WTF are you saying? Learn how to piece a coherent sentence together! Dog fighting is horrible don't get me wrong but when Mike Vick decides to pull a Ray Caruth, Chris Benoit, Ben Rothlisberger, and hell even Ray Lewis then I will call him a violent criminal.
  • Ender Wiggin
^^^ Exactly. I love dogs more than anyone else. What Vick did was TERRIBLE, but he did his time, paid his dues, I cant hate on what he did anymore.

Once he starts assaulting and killing humans, stfu with that dumbass bullshit. Also, what did I say that had anything to do with Al Sharpton? Stop deflecting you petulant ignorant child.

My only argument in this discussion was the comparison between Favre and Vick. No, Vick didn't rob or kill nobody, but comparing a man mulling over a life altering decision, and a man picking dogs up over his head, and slamming them to the ground....AFTER he has made them fight....Many times to their death, is a silly silly comparison....Anyways, Vick couldn't carry Favres jock strap ON the field either.

you really can't understand those sentences??? Mike Vick seems like a guy who's above robbing people (fucking sarcasm). Get it??? Huh??? Do ya??? No??? Well, you are dumb as a fucking rock , so that doesn't suprise me. Now GTFO.

I am so terrified by you Mr. Internet tough guy. Like I had stated once Mike Vick becomes violent against humans by robbing, raping, or killing them then I'll pass judgement on calling him violent. I absolutely love dogs and what Vick did was horrible. Dude did his time so some of you PETA wanna be's need to STFU you sound envious.

    :)

The thing is that he HASN'T done his time or paid his dues. He is still on probation and that probation carries certain terms. The same goes for his conditional reinstatement to the NFL. His punishment is ongoing. To say that his past shouldn't be held against him isn't accurate because he isn't done serving his sentence. Maybe they'll find that he didn't violate any of his terms, but it is certainly fair at this point to continue to discuss his previous crime.

Ha ha...yeah, killing animals doesn't show any violent tendencies.

    http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/425882/the_link_between_animal_abuse_and_serial.html

"Researchers as well as FBI and other law enforcement agencies nationwide have linked animal cruelty to domestic violence, child abuse, serial killings and to the recent rash of killings by school age children"

"While there are many factors that contribute to someone becoming a serial killer, the one constant they share is animal abuse."
  • rmolin73
What other violent tendencies has he shown? When have you heard that Vick has committed domestic violence or child abuse? You guys are taking this to another level. Although I'm not condoning dog fighting but the people that are involved in it don't view the dogs the same way we do nor do they view them like the people that become serial killers thats stretching things.

rmolin73;409682 wrote:the people that are involved in it don't view the dogs the same way we do

Yeah, just like serial killers don't view the value of human life in the same way most of us do. I'm not saying Michael Vick is a serial killer, but you are going to the exact opposite extreme in trying to defend him by downplaying distinct psychological traits. Violent tendencies are violent tendencies. The fact that a person like that DOESN'T see things the way a normal human being does is exactly what makes the person dangerous. It isn't passing judgment at all, it is noting well-studied and documented facts.

Aren't the ones he DID show enough?

I can say the same thing about deer hunters. Oh wait thats a sport. Also Human does not = dog no matter how much some people think they do.

In the court of public opinion, you may as well be trying to defend Hitler. Face reality. The saying "Man's best friend", didn't pop up last week. People don't forget that Jeffery Dahmer was well documented as abusing animals before his horrific conclusion.

    Save the bandwidth.
