LMAO...if you're serious, I'm literally making you the 1st person on my ignore list because you aren't intelligent enough on the topic of basketball and especially the NBA for me to waste time reading your garbage.
Get some new material, that is literally all you say when you argue with someone.

Oh and stop putting "LOL" or "LMAO" before everything you say..that is also annoying.

As a matter of fact..why don't you go pop some (or about 30) tylenol and go to bed.
SQ_Crazies wrote: Yes, yes. You were right. With 6 minutes left in the 3rd, they had played 4 quarters.
It wasn't meant as a literal term, fuckwad. You've never said "this game is over" before the game is actually over? Everyone but your delusional cocksucking ass knew the game was over in the 3rd quarter...excuse me for being right.

That was an embarrassing effort....the fans that paid money to watch it should get there money back.

JJ got fucking lit up all night tonight. He played terrible defense tonight.
You're a fucking idiot if you don't see the impact JJ had in this game.. He was literally the only guy going hard on offense.

I'll settle for some defensive lapses, because he's such a mismatch for Boston to guard and he brings us energy and the ability to finish at the rim.

Cavs are lucky Boston fucked up game 1 and stopped playing they did the same thing tonight they just had a bigger lead and didn't lose it and they HAVE to quit doing that... or they'd be up 2-0 heading home... Bostons defense is absolutely great so far this post-season
It's not good to count your chickens before they hatch....
Did I say anything about this series being over? And yes Boston quit playing when having a lead it's all to familiar this year. Honestly if you can't see that the Celtics are making the Cavs play at our level and pace then you need your eyes checked.. It's only when we have gotten out of our game and stopped taking it to the whole and letting Rondo do his thing and let the Cavs dictate the pace we look very sloppy.... Do I expect another 17 point game from Sheed? Probably not, but Baby is certainly capable of doing what he did last year in the playoffs.... All I'm saying is we did blow Game 1 and almost blew game 2 by stupid decisions in the 4th.... If we can get both at home that would just be awesome!
Just saying man :) I'm just a neutral observer and you sounded very confident in the Celts. They are definitely surprising me thus far and I think this series has the potential to get very interesting.

I disagree. Defense isn't just about effort. I will agree that it doesn't vary the way offense does but teams certaily have on or off defensive games and it doesn't revolve simply around the level of effort a team is putting in. Simply playing hard doesn't make rotations any quicker, hands in passing lanes any more or less prevalent, etc. Some games, teams just operate as if on a string with everyone together. Others they don't. It's just not as easy as looking at a stat sheet and saying, "Well so and so shot 4-15." IMO at least.
It's about effort when you're a great defensive team (check) and it was clear to everyone that you were just lazy on that end all night (check).
We can agree to disagree then. If as you say the Cavs aren't giving effort against a bunch of HOF'ers with rings in the second round of the playoffs then they're in a ton of trouble and that speaks volumes about the kind of leader LBJ is. They just didn't have it on either end tonight.

IMO playing hard is so overrated related to playing in control and playing smart and keeping your assignment, which is what defense especially is about. All sports but baskeball in particular is a pace game and when you deviate too much from your particular pace you're not going to be successful. All playing hard gets you in speeding yourself up and playing faster than you can keep up with. Playing hard is never a bad thing when done in control but there is nobody that can go balls to the wall all the time with no balance between going nuts and playing smart and be remotely effective.

OSU was no where to be found after Game 1.. His Celtics blow their wad in Game 2 and here he is talking up the Celtics like they did everything right to win this game..

The Cavs came out with NO energy and LeBron was waaay too passive.. It's been that way since Game 2 against the Bulls.

it was really a no brainer that Boston's D would be a step up from say Chicago

in all areas whether it's inside defense, getting out and challenging three-pointers, getting hands in the passing lanes, etc.

but in Game 1 when Cleveland picked up its defensive intensity, the Celtics got rattled and then at the tail end of Game 2, same thing, the Celtics got a little tight and took some more shaky shots and the Cavs had some steal opportunities

what will it take to play that way more often?

For them to get their head out of their ass. I'm sick of this "We can turn it on when we feel like" attitude..

Came all the way back to lose.
    Was waiting for that one.

Still a 22 point turn around, good luck to the C's getting them down that much again.

But if you really want to learn something, watch the game. The Cavs got fucked by a few terrible calls that killed their chance to win that game. I'm not bitching about officiating, though it may seem like that, they get some wrong--Cavs never should have been down 22 in the first place in that game but the officials took it out of their hands at the end.
The Cavs have consistently played like garbage in the first half against the C's this year. That isn't going to work out well if they keep doing that. It's almost the exact opposite of their "blow them out the first half, play with ourselves the second half" strategy against Orlando last year.

They need to be much more consistent across all four quarters or else they aren't going to go much further.

False, the 1st half went just fine tonight. We did just what we wanted to do. Came out in the 3rd quarter and didn't execute. I'm sorry, but I can't argue with someone who obviously doesn't pay attention anymore.

We want to be losing after the first half? Shit strategy if so.

    LOL What?

The 1st half was TERRIBLE! We were lucky to be down by 4 at half.. How did it go how we wanted it to? Because we weren't down 11 this time?

Cleveland should be able to jump on Boston early and never look back. They've failed twice now so far.

LeBron took four shots in the first half...4

That elbow is worse than we think.

His passes weren't crisp and they were off. He wasn't able to take the pressure off hs team mates and they struggled.

3 days rest is a good thing.
  • I Wear Pants
Either they aren't telling us something about his elbow or he's sort of a baby.

If something is wrong with the elbow just say that. Don't say "we're a no excuse team" or "it's just a sprain" and then come out and play like your elbow was beat with a hammer before the game. Not saying "yeah, it hurts a lot and is limiting me" is stupid to me.

Because we had them on the ropes in foul trouble and didn't come out with any intensity in the 2nd half.

    The first half was fine.

    Has he made an excuse?

Get the media cock out of your butthole, sir.

For some unknown reason, Brownie put Mo on Rondo again in the first half. That didn't make sense to me. Secondly, you can't front KG...doesn't matter who's guarding him. thirdly...it's time to smell the roses on Shaq. The guy is washed up. He absolutely kills the offensive motion. Defensively, he adds very little.

It's also easy to blame LeBron tonight. But let's face it....Mo had one of his worst games ever.

Tonight's game simply reinforces how hard it is to win a championship. But before people jump into the Cuyahoga River, remember the Lakers got blown the hell out several tines last year in the playoffs.

Has anybody seen the post game presser with Mike Brown? WOW!

He was PISSED.. Called out Mo, made no excuses for LeBron, and basically called out the entire team for their LACK of intensity...

This was all BEFORE any questions were asked.. I'm actually impressed with him, though he needs to blame himself a bit too, because that 3rd quarter got ugly.

Dumbest person on this site. And you can take that to the bank.

This is the guy that was worried about what dance routine Leboob and Co. had planned. You dumb fuck.

MB doesn't deserve any heat for his players playing with no intensity and not executing. He can't do that for them. He's right to call them out. They're calling themselves out.

Let's just call this what it is, a bad game for the Cavs. They've bounced back well from bad games all season. The C's played well, give them credit. Sheed came up big for them and we let him run wild without getting a hand up most of the time.

Move on to the next one boys, this one doesn't matter anymore.

He hasn't. He's said that it doesn't have an effect.

Which makes him either a liar or he's just choking in this series.

Anyone who has watched the Cavs all season knows LeBron isn't 100%. You don't have to come out and say it, it's obvious. They tried to play Shaq ball but Shaq couldn't deliver. They tried to get Mo hot...1-9. The only thing they didn't do was let LBJ take over, yeah he shot just under 50%, but he passed on sooo many step backs that have become routine it isn't even funny. I'm fine with the "no excuse" policy crap. If Mo, Shaq etc hit at a respectable clip, LBJ gets 14 assists...fine...just didn't happen.
