chicago510Devils win 5-3 to even the series 1-1

ptown_trojans_1Continuing the theme that the favorite loses game 1, Nashville just shutdown the Hawks in the 3rd tonight and won 4-1 to go 1-0 on the series. Preds got 2 empty netters.
Phoenix is up 1-0 on the Wings, end of 1
and the Sharks are choking some more, down 1-0 to the Avs in the 1st. -
ptown_trojans_1Nice, the Wings tie and then the Coyotes come right back and take back the lead.
2-1 Coyotes.
12:47 left in 2nd. -
Laley23Pavel Datsuyk just had a sick goal with his stick between the defenders legs on a 1 timer.
And Phoenix answers RIGHT back again. -
ptown_trojans_1This is awesome. Suck it Detroit lol.
3-2 Coyotes
Sharks and Avs tied at 1, end of 1. -
Laley233-3 Val Filppula.
what a period! only 11 minutes into it also. -
ptown_trojans_1haha, apparently both teams forgot how to play defense.
Detroit goal, tied at 3. -
slingshot4everDamn Blackhawks better get their shit together.
-
Laley23Zetterberg got his hat-trick on an empty netter as Detroit takes game 2, 7-4.
Pavel Datsuyk, Johna Franzen, Todd Bertuzzi, and Henrik Zetterberg all played really well and the 3rd and 4th lines really responded to Phoenix's physicality from game 1.
Justin Abdelkader played a great game and is going to be a very good player for Detroit. -
KnightXC1That Wings game last night was utterly nerve wrenching. I don't expect another game like that in this series. I do however expect the Wings to be more physical than they were last night and to continue to play better. Outside of a couple of bad defensive breakdowns, they played a very good game. The Coyotes PP came back to Earth and should stay there for the remainder of the series.
Sharks are incredibly lucky after last night and the Blackhawks could be in big trouble if Riene gets hot for the Preds. -
ptown_trojans_1Yeah, I fell asleep before the ends of the late games, but a buddy of mine told me they were both nuts. The Wings just owned the 3rd and the Sharks just got lucky with a late goal with 30 seconds left in regulation and won in OT.
Today's schedule:
Bruins v. Sabers 1:00, Sabers up 1-0
Caps vs. Habs 7:00, Habs up 1-0. I'm heading to the game with a buddy, should be awesome.
Kings vs. Canucks 10:00, Canucks up 1-0. -
ptown_trojans_1Start of 3rd, Sabers ahead 3-2 on the Bruins.
-
ptown_trojans_1Boston, 4 man 2 rush, good pass and then Ryder of Boston puts it in.
Tied at 3. -
ptown_trojans_1Bruins' Chara get a long slapshot that goes top shelf. 4-3 Bruins. 12:43 left.
Miller is playing really shaky. -
ptown_trojans_1Great flurry of actions, near goals, great hits, back and forth.
4:16 to go, Bruins still on top. -
ptown_trojans_1Empty netter seals it for Boston, 5-3.
Series tied at 1.
Heading down for the game tonight. Go Caps! -
End of LineWhen it comes to the Preds/Hawks series, what helps the Preds is their expereince and Their D core. Just look at the names they have, Arnott, Bouillon, Dumont, Erat, Legwand, and Sullivan. Also having the best d-pairing in the game with Weber-Suter. Nashville is a lot better than what people think.
