I'm not sure you know the definition of tyranny. Just to confirm, you're saying the US is under a tyrannical government? If yes, please elaborate. How has this "tyrannical" regime affected you directly? -

Bio-HazzzzardQuite a few African American churches getting torched, three confirmed as arson. This is a form of civil war as stated in my original post. These idiots setting the fires are no doubt nutbags that need to be punished to the fullest extent. Stealing one groups rights of freedom to pacify another groups rights of freedom will only create conflict, this goes both ways.

I posted the exact same thing on the very first page of the thread and no one cared to respond. Which leads me to believe that they could care less about innocent people being attacked. If they do they'll default to talking about the crime rate in Chicago or Baltimore.Bio-Hazzzzard;1738119 wrote:Quite a few African American churches getting torched, three confirmed as arson. MontyBrunswickAnd black people predominantly play the "knockout game" on white people. What's your point? The door swings both ways if you want to play this stupid "civil war" card.

j_crazyreading through this thread, i can sum up my emotions with a series of pictures:
First:
Maybe this thread won't be what I know it's about.

Oh shit, it is.

The great thing is that if you look up "knockout game" online, most of what you find is that it's more or less an urban legend where people took anecdotal evidence (your typical number of random assaults) and turned it into this big scare of out-of-control black youth overrunning society. Ending up with sites like Snopes debunking certain stories (such as one with an elderly lady shooting two assailants) as fictional.MontyBrunswick;1738134 wrote:And black people predominantly play the "knockout game" on white people. Well, actually, the great thing was how many people on this site swallowed it hook, line and sinker...but I don't think anyone could call that a surprise. -

Kind of like racist cops shooting black people for the color of their skin, and not for being criminals.Heretic;1738153 wrote: Well, actually, the great thing was how many people on this site swallowed it hook, line and sinker...but I don't think anyone could call that a surprise. -

I really just don't care about churches. The amount of ignorance they spew does more damage to society than a fire ever could.rmolin73;1738127 wrote:I posted the exact same thing on the very first page of the thread and no one cared to respond. So the Knockout game is just something white people made up to further shove black people down society's hierarchy?Heretic;1738153 wrote:The great thing is that if you look up "knockout game" online, most of what you find is that it's more or less an urban legend where people took anecdotal evidence (your typical number of random assaults) and turned it into this big scare of out-of-control black youth overrunning society. For as annoying as the retarded right wing nutjobs are on this site, you following them around and doing the exact same thing they do right back to them, is equally as annoying. -

I didn't say that. It was the sort of stupid scare-tactic that gets made up or hilariously exaggerated every few years because, shockingly, there is violence in our society. When I was growing up, it was this thing about if you see a car driving without lights during dusk, don't blink your lights at them because it's a gang initiation where you'll get shot. (http://www.snopes.com/crime/gangs/lightsout.asp). Started out as Hell's Angels and then became Bloods/Crips, according to Snopes. While some people did partake in the knockout game and it is a real thing, the whole thing was exaggerated to become the new "Lights Out" deal.SportsAndLady;1738196 wrote:So the Knockout game is just something white people made up to further shove black people down society's hierarchy?

Like the scare tactic that if you are black and a cop approaches you, you should run because he's a racist and wants to shoot you. Like that one? Tell that to the media.Heretic;1738216 wrote:I didn't say that. I'd say they're comparable along the lines that both things do happen, but get blown up to be this regular happening that seemingly is an every day occurrence.sleeper;1738225 wrote:Like the scare tactic that if you are black and a cop approaches you, you should run because he's a racist and wants to shoot you. Trust me we all are fully aware how you feel about the church. Why are "we" not appalled at people attacking innocent people?....well, we are...but in reality it's pretty commonplace. Most are not even race related. Bad people attack innocent people all the time. When it comes to arson, there are over 30,000 arson fires a year...only a handful are race related. So it's not really that innocents are being attacked....it's why they are being attacked....and that brings us back to race.
IMO, we focus way too much on the negative stuff, some pretty minor, and ignore the great progress that has been made in race relations even in my lifetime. -
rmolin73
Trust me I agree wholeheartedly. We have made tremendous progress in regards to race relations. I just like to point out the hypocrisy in a lot of posts. Guys are constantly complaining about black people complaining. Kind of ridiculous don't you think?HitsRus;1738248 wrote: IMO, we focus way too much on the negative stuff, some pretty minor, and ignore the great progress that has been made in race relations even in my lifetime.
