It was definitely a body double.

I agree you could see it was a body double with bad imaging. It was actually true to the books. Glad they did it.

You know they start filming seasons in July, so probably wasn't about to pop out a baby when it was filmed. Based on her interviews I'm pretty sure it was her.

It wasn't all her she admitted it was a body double and her head was super imposed with another body. This scene was filmed in October.

Seriously? The show has caught the books and passed it in many areas.

And it was also someone wondering if one thing might happen and asking what happened to a particular dire wolf. There wasn't anything remotely close to a spoiler there, even if the general book-reading public actually knew how the whole "Jon is dead!?!?" deal turned out.

I mean, a person could make an educated guess based on all possible information from both sources, especially given that the show kind of abruptly had Meli abandon Stannis to return to the Wall right around when shit went down AND how another red priest (Thoros) did use magic to bring Beric back a few seasons ago, but that's not exactly "spoiling" anything. And for all we know, might not even be an accurate guess.

I did read he Harrington won't be back for season 6, but that could change given how far away it is until the next season airs. I definitely enjoyed the finale more than I thought I would and I'm happy with the direction for next season. With that said, I'm sure I'll have the same complaints as I always do, way too many story lines, not enough time.

They didn't touch on Margery or Littlefinger for weeks, so curious how they play into next season, especially with Sansa running with Theon and Cersi back after her shame walk.

Anything is possible with RR, but I'm 99% convinced Jon will be back - no reason to have Melisandre go back there otherwise, and no reason for her to have had visions of Jon.

Read that Harrington doesn't have a contract (so he says) and won't be back (so he says). A lot of people seem to think they are going to pull the old "the Jon you knew really did die" trick. And he DID die (producer made that clear) - what I haven't read is that he won't be brought back from the dead.

One interesting theory I saw is that dying technically fulfills his oath. Or maybe he'll just say "fuck your oath, you guys killed me". This frees him up to leave the watch, and since Jon would never have broken the oath, maybe this was the only way for him to move on from the Wall.

If Jon comes back from the dead, that will be too much for me. I can handle some magic, but that's too much for me lol.

It's happened a few times though in the series. Hell they just put together the mountain from the dead that carried Cersei out.

I guess you're not ready for Lady Stoneheart. I hope we see her next season.

(Don't google her if you don't want to be spoiled.)

I actually was talking with a fellow book reader today about whether we think that storyline will even be in the show. You would think so, but you never know because we don't know where GRRM is going with that storyline in the books.

I question whether we'll see it too. Lady Stoneheart runs into Brienne and Pod and since they're at Winterfell in the show, who knows where it will go.

Saw an article where RR says he would like to see her in the show. But from what I've read, unless RR has bigger plans for her I don't think they'll invest the screen time in adding that story line.

I'm assuming only 20 shows remain, and the first 10 are going to have to get everyone in place and sort some things out (not to mention, more backstory and development on the Walkers themselves) for the final 10 to do battle with the White Walkers.

I don't think this is the last we will see from Jon Snow. No reason to show Melisandre coming back to unless foreshadowing her doing something with him.
  • Raw Dawgin' it
Jon Snow is dead, but i think he'll become Jon Targaryen. Fire+Blood Magic and he'll be reborn.

Re-watch the full frontal scenes, and make sure you're on a high HD TV. That was NOT her. Not a chance in hell.

I've already read ahead, and know the "prophecies." I am crossing my fingers that Jon Snow is AA.
