    Good news all around

I'm sure it was a couple of white protesters shooting a couple white cops, no big deal. :)
  • TedSheckler
    It was a peaceful shooting.

He said he lives in a predominantly black area, and when he see's whitey he knows why they are there....to buy drugs. He said he has called many a time and the cops show up and bust the offenders. Only time white people go down to his area is to buy drugs he said.....

Iknow..cool story, but profiling can go both ways.
Criminal profiling is criminal profiling; thanks for adding to my point.

But it did find rampant problems in the department overall. This was my argument a while ago. Black people, and people of color clearly have legit reasons to feel upset with the cops/justice system. By propping this up as their main rallying cause, it hurts them more than it helps. It only feeds the stereotypes, and puts people more firmly in whatever camp they were already in.

Was this a Cop on Cop crime?

The justice department is far from credible.

I was replying to an article that said Justice Department is ready to clear the officer. So that isn't credible either? It can't be credible on clearing the officer, but not credible on the rest of findings about the department.
  • QuakerOats
Sure it can. There is no grand jury to overcome in the rest of their 'findings'.

^^^well, that is exactly it. If there were actual "civil rights" violations by the officer, they would have to take it to an actual trial where the actions of all and the accusations would be put under a microscope and be subject to objective scutiny. This report and its accusations and findings require no such scrutiny.
I have to admit I LOL'd at the 'revenue enhancement' part of the report....is that something unusual?....every town and city that sticks its police force out on the freeway to hand out speeding tickets, or sets up speed traps engages in that. Since the town is 2/3 black, of course the great majority tickets issued are going to be within that group...that's not necessarily "targeting".

The thing that really bugs me is that running tha narrative and sticking to the agenda seems to be more important than insuring domestic tranquility. The feds have done their part in keeping this going and fanning the flames, and I find that somewhat disconcerting. More importantly, they've thrown law enforcement under the bus and undermined its authority and credibility. Is it any wonder that two officers get shot? When people have NO respect for law, anarchy ensues.

I rarely noticed the race or gender until after I pulled over a car. Now what, if they pull over too many black people they will get in trouble?

^^^^oops, let him/her go....we are over our quota for minorities this month....

I don't know how you can operate like that.

    Dude looks like Chris Rock.

Robinson said Williams told him he was not a regular at the protests. “He hasn’t protested. He wasn’t actually a protester. He was actually coming out to support one night and just kind of being there to support the people,” Robinson said.

“He said he had been robbed by some of the protesters, and I asked him if he had got robbed, he should have not reacted out of frustration or anger, but he should have allowed the leaders that were present to address it and handle it right then,” Robinson said.
Not sure I completely buy that explanation. after 9 months of protesting and never attending once, he finally shows up this night and is robbed? so his great idea is to shoot randomly into a crowd from 100+ yards away?

Here the problem with today’s media... they don't do the research, dig into the matter, find the truth and most of all media (all media) does not print all the facts.

Example. No report on the policeman races that were shot ... both white, one white one black. Latino and black ...
It was important to report the race of the officer that shot a black thief that started this situation.
Example: Let start by printing the criminal records of some of the individuals within the reporting. Let see in print just how innocent, good citizenship and beneficial to society they really are.
I tired of hearing how great and wonderful criminals are let their police record be the judge of that to the public.
Example: Do the fucking home work … Did Williams have a permit to care this weapon???? Report the facts, dig into the truth and report it all to the public.

I have no doubt that they do the homework ...the problem is in what they edit in and edit out.

I’m not to sure that many local area media (print and TV) do any research. They take what is reported off the wire, script what is given and take that as truth and gospel. The idea that a local reported does a back ground check on some in St Louis for criminal record, reported arrest does not happen. Today’s local reporters do not go beyond the boundaries of the teleprompter, computer screen and AP wire … easy and effortless does not equal factual and informative

Well considering he served 26 years in for killing someone...

Anyway, looks like a suicide but Al Sharpton will try to blame white people somehow.

And now we have 'black brunch' protesters further attempting to entice rioting it would seem.

I wonder who is funding them?

These people are so stupid it's almost comical. The only reason it's not funny is they are bothering innocent people with their stupidity.

Reported missing 2 weeks ago and found 200 yards from his house... Doesn't seem like they tried very hard to find him lol.

Michael Brown Sr. speaks through a megaphone as he takes part in a parade in honor of his son, Michael Brown, on Aug. 8, 2015, in Ferguson, Mo. Sunday will mark one year since Michael Brown was shot and killed by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson.

Nice to see Sr. put on his best grills and cleanest wife beater.
