I figured it out.reclegend22;1596935 wrote:That's what I wondered as well. Also no bird expert, but I'm not sure how many trans-oceanic flights seagulls often go on. This was something a CNN expert said, so I probably should've clarified. But it was hilarious at the time considering how wrong the Malaysians have been about everything since the beginning.
The seagulls travelled through a the same black hole the plane did and ended up in the middle of the indian ocean.
Guess they shoulda made that left turn in Albuquerque. (if you get that refernce you have to be old) -

reclegend22BREAKING: Planes spot objects in new search area. Objects will be analyzed overnight.
-
thavoiceAbout time the planes see something.
I am not sure why CNN keeps having the girlfriend/life partner of the American guy that was on the plane. They are giving her airtime about how she still feels him and believes he is still alive...blah blah blah. She is in a serious case of denial. -

Lol the planes have probably been spotting the same objects every day. The search for Amelia Earhart went better than this.thavoice;1597477 wrote:About time the planes see something.
More than 10 days have passed since the first objects were spotted and they still haven't analyzed anything. I'm pretty close to losing all interest. -
thavoiceFrom what I heard, this is the first time that the planes have seen anything. Everything else was on satellite and when planes/ships got there they couldnt.

Ah. I thought I saw the same plane update yesterday, but admittedly didn't pay much attention at all last night due to the NCAA Tournament.thavoice;1597503 wrote:From what I heard, this is the first time that the planes have seen anything. Well, maybe they are a step closer then. I'm sort of pulling for "not the plane" so that there is something to watch next week when basketball is not on. This is the time of year that I wish I were a baseball fan. -

At one point I saw her comment "I guess I what I was feeling was his spirit".....So she "feels" him because he's still alive, or she feels him because he's Patrick Swayze in ghost.thavoice;1597477 wrote: I am not sure why CNN keeps having the girlfriend/life partner of the American guy that was on the plane. I feel for her and I suppose I'm an evil person for making fun - but why even go on tv over and over? Some sort of bizarro world where 15 minutes of fame trumps the emotion of losing someone. -

Just is messed up. CNN is exploiting her and she I guess gets excited to be on TV.gut;1597531 wrote:At one point I saw her comment "I guess I what I was feeling was his spirit".....So she "feels" him because he's still alive, or she feels him because he's Patrick Swayze in ghost.

bases_loadedIs CNN the only agency still following this story?

Other channels are but not as much.bases_loaded;1599030 wrote:Is CNN the only agency still following this story?
PRetty hard to continually cover a story where there isnt anything new or substantial.
Still no found wreckage.
I am thinking black hole.
In other news...FoxNews has their version of march madness going on. I am not a fan of Obama, but their march madness version of his bumbling is complete garbage and not something that should be on any station that wants to be a legit news source.
Shame on them. -
xKoToVxSyNdRoMeWell that's OK because Fox isn't a legitimate news source.

And yet somehow CNN has figured out how to do it. CNN correspondent Martin Savidge has been on location in a flight simulator in Ontario, Canada, for three weeks, replicating all the different scenarios in which the plane could have disappeared. He breaks in with "updates" from the simulator very hour. I'm not even sure he's gonna have a job after/if the plane is found.thavoice;1599057 wrote:Other channels are but not as much.

This is what I have pretty much figured out the last 10+ years.xKoToVxSyNdRoMe;1599060 wrote:Well that's OK because Fox isn't a legitimate news source.
When Bush was the President it was CNN's M.O. to blame everything on him and skew many a story to place all the world's ills on him and it was unbearable to watch all the while FNC wasnt bad at all and reported the news.
Now with Obama in office the tables have turned. FNC is unwatchable as they blame everything on him and Dems, and CNN just reports the news.
I imagine the tables will turn once again if a R is elected. -

I am waiting for CNN to have Miss Cleo on to tell us where the plane is.reclegend22;1599065 wrote:And yet somehow CNN has figured out how to do it. None of the cable news outlets are legitimate, especially during election season. And neither are most national newscasts, for that matter.xKoToVxSyNdRoMe;1599060 wrote:Well that's OK because Fox isn't a legitimate news source. -

Sylvia Browne is generally regarded as the more accurate fortune teller -- she was a featured guest on Montel -- but unfortunately she is unavailable for comment due to being dead.thavoice;1599068 wrote:I am waiting for CNN to have Miss Cleo on to tell us where the plane is. -

Agreed.....none of these stations (CNN, PMSNBC, Fox, etc) are news stations. They are opinion stations.reclegend22;1599069 wrote:None of the cable news outlets are legitimate, especially during election season. And neither are most national newscasts, for that matter.
