Phillip Seymour Hoffman found dead

  • Enforcer
Heroin is no joke, I've seen first hand what it can do to a family, I had 2 sisters who were arrested and sent to federal prison for 4 years each for trafficking in it, I also have 1 brother that's currently doing it and doesn't seem to want help and another who is currently in a treatment facility for Heroin use.
the Brother who is trying to get help had it all before the drug, great job , a promising super cross Career, He got with the wrong crowd and tried it, He said the first time He tried it He was looking to get high, the other times afterwards He was looking not to feel bad and miserable.
This is a devastating drug, and it's only going to get worse, You bust one drug dealer, and 3 more step up to take their place

I think Laley said that tongue-in-cheek mocking those saying we shouldn't GAF about Hoffman because he overdosed.

No he didn't - Laley was dead serious in that post and Lowrey is guilty for supporting him. Stone them both.

Military service=something generally positive and selfless.
Shooting heroin=nothing good comes of it and its pretty selfish.
No he was clean for 25 years. It stuck with him. No matter what happened it was always in him to want heroin.

And it doesn't matter if it's for good or not. They are both choices. Being in the military doesn't mean shit. You get paid better than most, get a free tuition and generally get pampered by idiots. It was their choice to join the military we shouldn't praise them for that.

....you don't get it do you? No matter what happened huh? so if 25 years ago he never shot up heroin, he still have been addicted to heroin now? as a teenage kid, PSH was told, heroin is bad, its highly addictive, and you can die from it. yet what, a few years later in his 20s, he says screw it, I am gonna shoot up heroin, all these other Hollywood guys doing it etc. so why should I give two shits about him throwing his life away? he should be happy he lived as long as he did and didn't die with a needle in his arm sooner.

Durkie putting down military men & women and comparing their choice to serve with a choice to OD is reprehensible. Mods you constantly remove me from threads for simply poking fun at Cleveburgh and yet you allow this scum bucket of human waste to continue insulting our finest segment of society. Every one of you should be ashamed because I know not a single one of you has the balls to ban him do you? Bunch of pussies.

Guy who sold it to him was Robert Vineberg he played sax for Mick Jagger, Amy Winehouse, Wyclef, Tom Jones, and David Bowie.

A informant gave all the information that led to his arrest along with two others. The informant said Vineberg sold high quality heroin but when he ran out he would buy cheaper heroin from another guy in the same building and then sell it. Hoffman got some of the cheap stuff that the informant said was very dangerous. The informant said he wouldn't buy the heroin unless it was the high quality stuff that was safer. The informant says the cops have not arrested the guy who sells the cheap dangerous heroin.

BTW Hoffman hadn't used Heroin before the last 6-9 months. When he did drugs 23 years before heroin wasn't one of them. He fell off the wagon when he had just "one drink" after finishing a movie. The one drink led to multiple drinks. The drinking led to drugs which ultimately led to heroin.

His addiction is what killed him. When someone can't have just one drink or they go on a spiral it's addiction. He may have known heroin was bad but, when your intoxicated you don't make the best lifestyle choices.

Just my personal opinion. You make a choice to be a firemen. Should we give discounts to them? Teachers? Babysitters? Get over it
  • Tiernan
Not a single serviceman I know ever asked for a god damn discount for anything, in fact they don't ask for much except for douche bags to get out of their way. And you're one of the douche bags.
