    I watched a bunch of videos to get proper form for deadlifts. I was lifting too much with my lower back and not enough with my legs, once I changed my form I was able to add a lot more weight. @Justin, have you ever used a weight belt? That might help with the back strain and keep everything straight.

    I hit 330 for 7 reps last week back squatting. Best I've done in quite a while. I am really liking Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 program. It's a good change from doing reverse pyramid for a year and a half.

    It's so much more than "being ripped" or showing you can lift a ton of weight.

    Muscle mass, strength, mobility and flexibility are all long-term health promoters, especially if your smart about achieving and maintaining it.

    I ran last week and fucked up my ankle and it hasn't felt right since, so I'll likely regain the 10 pounds I lost because I'm a failure.

    I'm moving next month which means I have to cancel my current gym membership.

    So for the next 2 months or so I plan on going without a membership while working out at home.

    I have the Perfect pushup setup and my soon to be roomie has the Perfect pullup

    Now I want to get something to do dips on. I'm thinking the Perfect Dip Bar



    Or this dip station thing.


    Anyone have any experience with either? I'm leaning towards the Perfect Dip Bar because it takes up less space, but I've never used it before and I'm unsure if it works for all door openings. The apartment is brand new so I'd rather not fuck something up using this contraption.

    I'd go with the stand over the door frame dips, that shit is expensive to fix.

    Yeah, i have a door frame pull up bar and it needed to be modified so i'm going off that. If the door frame one doesn't fit perfectly it seems like it could do a lot of damage

    Pick up Dinosaur Bodyweight Training or Convict Conditioning. The program progression will make you insanely strong, and you won't miss a beat when you get back to heavy, heavy lifting. It's a great de-loading program and perfect for someone with a limitation. I'd just focus on the upper body work (pull-ups, push-ups, handstand push-ups, dips, planks, etc...)

    LOL. Do you know who you're talking to? I think dlazz is a runner, not a lifter. I could be wrong.

    I do have an f'd up shoulder and wrist issues, but I just want to experiment. I'll eventually join a gym, but I want to follow something at home in the meantime.

    Even so, ANYONE can incorporate a bodyweight program. Regardless of what you typically do. He said he would regain 10 lbs. Might be a good opportunity to make that a "decent" 10 lbs instead of all adipose.
