I guess I didn't even realize he has a younger brother.TedSheckler;1454751 wrote:The younger brother would be next in succession, but he wouldn't "rule" until of age. The hand of the king would rule, which would be Tywin.
Which raises an interesting question - Tywin is pretty ruthless and obsessed with power, and has no love lost for that douche Joffrey. I'm sure he's trying to figure out how to get Joffrey out of the way.
But who would rule with no heir? Would it be the queen? Or would we assume it passes to the next family with a claim to succession? -

Yeah, I think it may be available on HBOGo a few hours after the airing, but don't quote me on that.Laley23;1454761 wrote:If anyone has HBOGo, they can give you there Pword and username.

I think it is actually as soon as it is over. I know I read where they know about username and pword sharing and at this point dont see it as a problem/care.gut;1454771 wrote:Yeah, I think it may be available on HBOGo a few hours after the airing, but don't quote me on that. -
swamisezNo, I have HBO Go and it doesn't update till the next morning. I got screwed over after the season premier. Ended up going to a series of Bars in Dallas and found one that played the west coast airing for me.
-
gutI was thinking via OnDemand with XFinity - seems like I missed an episode before and watched it a few hours later. Although I'm not sure why it would be available sooner than HBOGo.

LOL, whatever you do you better avoid this thread 30 minutes from nowswamisez;1454778 wrote:No, I have HBO Go and it doesn't update till the next morning. I got screwed over after the season premier. Or avoid yahoo, or imdb, or any other popular webpage.gut;1454786 wrote:LOL, whatever you do you better avoid this thread 30 minutes from now
I've read the books, and I still don't want to be spoiled by the season ending episode - so needless to say, I probably won't be back on this thread until tomorrow. -

You should just avoid it altogether w/ all these spoilersgut;1454786 wrote:LOL, whatever you do you better avoid this thread 30 minutes from now -
Laley23Thoughts on finale?
Set up a lot of good shit. Ayria seems like she is gonna fuck some people up. Got that feeling when she saw her dad die, but it took 2 seasons. I doubt it stops there.
My other thought is if next season doesnt show more dragons and Danys, I will be pissed. -
gutPredictably, a real let down from last week. Not having read the books, I don't feel like much was set-up. More transitional. They did wrap-up/close a few more story lines. If I hadn't read a spoiler, I would have missed the really subtle explanation of what was going on with Theon.
It's cool how they've transformed The Dog into a likeable character, really just another example what stands out with the show as far as characters.
Pure speculation on my part (NO SPOILERS PLEASE!!!), but I have a suspicion The Cripple may end-up commanding the army of white walkers.
And lmao at Joffrey wanting to serve Robb's head to Sansa at his wedding. A true douch's douch. Oh, and Tywin is truly a loving, caring father. -

Agreed on the last point. They've built her rise up so much, yet they barely let her (and her army) fuck people up.Laley23;1454936 wrote:Thoughts on finale?

Pretty good finale'. I really don't know whats going on with the red headed chick. Can't decide if she's good or bad.
I was also really glad they didn't show the severed ****. Lol. -

That didn't stop them from making us think the dude barbecued it up for dinner, which was arguably even worse.SportsAndLady;1454946 wrote: I was also really glad they didn't show the severed ****. Lol. -

gutBy the way, was it the Red Woman that said the gods will punish killing visitors to your house, while simultaneously taking credit for the Starks' slaughter?

Nah, that was the Stark boy giving the story to the others while they waited in the castle with the well.gut;1455009 wrote:By the way, was it the Red Woman that said the gods will punish killing visitors to your house, while simultaneously taking credit for the Starks' slaughter?
Overall, not bad. I was expected a lot more blood. I thought Snow was dead, guess not.
They did set up a lot for next season.
Looks like it is now two major wars-against the mother of dragons, and against the white walkers. -

TedShecklerI thought it was a meh finale. Last week's Red Wedding would have been a better finale. Should have at least ended it with Jon getting back to Castle Black. Daenerys is boring.

Generally agree. It was a mediocre episode for a regular slot, but for a finale people likely wanted more. It wasn't bad, but there were ample points to go in a much more shocking direction. Well, it didn't.TedSheckler;1455304 wrote:I thought it was a meh finale. Last week's Red Wedding would have been a better finale. Should have at least ended it with Jon getting back to Castle Black. Even your non spoilers have spoilers in them. At this point you should just stay out of this thread unless youre going to talk SOLEY about the show. Make your own book/you know more than us/whatever you want thread.Manhattan Buckeye;1455308 wrote:Generally agree. So what is the spoiler? -

Edit: I'm a big douche -
Manhattan BuckeyeYou aren't selfish, of the 2-3 story lines you missed the one I was talking about.
It had nothing to do with a death, or the white walkers. At any rate, it didn't happen...what did happen is I think GRRM isn't going to finish the novels. He'll likely let HBO finish the story off in 2-3 years.
