Have to agree here. Kellogg puts a lot of schools to shame; maybe even Fisher.

Whoa, guys, let's calm down. Let's get back to discussing how I'll likely underperform on my interview tomorrow.

    Oh, the irony.

Well **** if we are allowed to move the goal posts, I could take a 2.0 Marketing major from OSU and send them to a community college majoring in Biochemical Nuclear Fusion Physics and have them get a 4.0 GPA; and then say "Oh look at how easy engineering is, that a marketing major could struggle in MARKETING(lol <- MARKETING = JOKE/FRAUD) but get an 4.0 GPA in SCIENCE." Do I need to lay everything out for you? You'd think an engineer from the prestigious Akron University(where dat?) could make an accurate comparison with the facts already laid out in a reasonable manner.
Except for the fact that community colleges don't carry engineering degrees.

This is what I do. Do you mind me asking who you work for?

It went well actually. It took forever (over two hours) but I came away with a positive feeling about it. I guess we'll see.

    Any word on the job?

They said they had more candidates to interview this week, then they'd get back to me. They all seemed to like me, though.

That probably means I won't get it because I'm terrible at life.

lol..chin up dude. I'm currently searching like a maniac as well. I hate it.

I'm currently doing heavy "networking" aka...bugging the shit out of people for contacts.

I work for an independent agent of a large transportation/logistics company. It is just my boss, his son (sometimes) and me here in the office.

My job search ended today with a call from LG. I graciously accepted a position as an LG Brand Advocate. Basically, I have a territory of stores (Lowe's, Best Buy etc) and I train their sales staff on new products. I am extremely blessed and grateful.

Owens does. A lot of degrees there are 2+2 anymore where it has to be the same curriculum and classes at Owens before transferring to UT or BG

I got crossed off another list. Oh well.

I still have a few apps out there still. Not really sure what's going to happen.

I am still waiting to hear back from the OSU position. They were getting ready to make an offer to either me or another guy. I don't know if they offered the other guy, or they're stuck in redtape.

It wouldn't shock me in the least bit if it were the latter.

I interviewed for a state position yesterday, and it sounded like I would be a perfect fit.

BUT, I don't think they'd like some of the answers on a polygraph test. Evidently, they aren't big fans of people who say 'yes' to "Have you ever illegally downloaded music?"
