You can assume whatever you wish and have. Why would you request support to do so.
I'm just curious because god doesn't mention bacteria in the bible, so I want to verify if he did in fact create them. And if he did create them, why is he denying them the ability to enter the gates of heaven?

Why does the graph only go to an IQ of 110 and start at 60?

Colossians 1:6 covers bacteria and everything else. That consitutues bacteria being mentioned.

Do you believe bacteria has a spirit? If you do, why do you think God has denied it the ability to enter heaven?

Perhaps I need to explain the study better. An IQ test was administered to a sample size(statistically significant) in 100+ countries in the world. The test takes were then asked to label either a belief in god or no belief in god. The IQ represented is the average of all test takers IQ.

I realize this test paints believers mostly in a bad light considering the high concentration of below average IQ's with a near zero disbelief in god, but these are the "facts".

I don't understand the context of spirit. I don't "believe" that anything possess a spirit because a spirit has not been proven.

Also, I'd love to see the passage that mentions bacteria.

If you don't believe anything has a spirit then it can't be denied in your mind for it doesn't exists.

I'm glad your interested in seeing the passage I mentioned.

personally i dont believe that when you die you go to heaven or hell...i dont even believe the bible says that you do either. the original word that is used "sheol" actually means grave.

I believe that the spaghetti monster controls the world and likes bacteria. Therefore, my beliefs say that bacteria get to go to heaven and do the salsa until the end of time. I love religion!

I think many Christians do believe that this is the indeed the case until such time as Christ returns to judge the living and the dead. Christians include the New Testament in their understand combined with the Old....Law & Gospel.

This is great that you share your beliefs with us all. Thank you for doing so.

I thought Christ already did return. What is he waiting for?

Nope. I think he is waiting for all the living to have had the Gospel shared with them.

So never? Bacteria cannot hear, nor read, so how are they supposed to have the Gospel shared with them? I hope God is working on this problem; it might take a while for a supreme all powerful, omnipotent being.

Not never. Since you don't believe bacteria have a spirit they are not included in such an effort of being exposed to the Gospel. In addition, I don't think that you believe that the Messiah has even been born...neither do the Jews.

There is either truth or not. It doesn't matter what I "believe"; I'm asking you what the truth is based on the teachings the bible. Please, your efforts to obfuscate the question and supply an unreasonable answer do not go unnoticed.

That's not what you asked my at all.

If it doesn't matter what you believe then humanistic terms of what constitutes a reasonable answer do not have to come into the equation. The answer exists in your individual relationship and communication with God and His word. Those exist in a collection of books aptly named the Bible where the answer is explained as the Messiah having been born, killed, raised from the dead and being seated at the right hand of the Father. He will com again and at that point the living and dead will be judged with spiritual eternity being granted either with Him or not. The timing of this is not one of human measurement but rather that defined by Him. It's unreasonable for you to think that would be provided to you in terms you define as opposed to Him.

I suppose I should have qualified that by saying that the distinction lies between that and a being with a soul (or "consciousness," if you prefer) that continues on. Apologies for not being thorough.

sleeper;1389099 wrote:Good to know we can expect trillions upon trillions of bacteria into the gates of heaven. Can one assume all animals besides humans are atheist?
Personally, I don't think animals have the capacity to ponder that kind of question. As such, they are atheists as much as any object without the ability to pose the question, sure.

This actually not true at all. But why should we expect sleeper to list actual facts and back them up when he can state things as FACT!!

There are many PhD biologists who do not believe this. Notice I did NOT say most or a majority, I said many.
