To determine if others should be charged with, in the AG's words, failure to report a felony, tampering with evidence, furnishing alchohol to minors, etc.
He stated they rerviewed 1000's of texts, videos and photos. 16 ppl they wanted to speak with refused to talk to them. Interviewed coaches, parents and leads me to believe some adults will be charged. -
killer_ewokvball10set;1407253 wrote:ewok, are you in Wintersville now? What's the mood like there??
Yes. If you mean today about the verdict and sentencing...haven't really talked to anyone this morning yet. Throughout this situation...since August....cover-up and guilty.
There are teenagers on twitter, right now, calling Jane Doe a whore and still defending Mays and Richmond. Unreal. -
september63The victims attorney wraps up his press conference outside the courthouse by looking directly at the group before saying this "I am wrapping this up. Do you have any more questions Anonymous?"

killer_ewok@DaNiiEllE__x0: How can you be happy two boys are losing there futures? Over a whore? (victim's name) was just mad she got taught this time.
What a piece if shit. Who gives a fuck about their futures??? They messed that up themselves. -
killer_ewokRichmond's father doesn't know when to shut up. The media surrounded him and he said that Ma'lik just got caught up in a love triangle and then began talking about some details of the case that he probably should not be talking about publicly. The press has got to love him.

queencitybuckeyeIn a monument to a grotesque lack of proper perspective, DeWine stated that they interviewed 27 Steubenville football coaches. 27 fucking football coaches. No problem there.

DeWine is a good guy (dealt with him indirectly back when he was a Senator) but no one, and I mean no one would call him an intellectual powerhouse. Doesn't surprise me that he would make such a big gaffe.queencitybuckeye;1407282 wrote:In a monument to a grotesque lack of proper perspective, DeWine stated that they interviewed 27 Steubenville football coaches. 27 ****ing football coaches. Where's the gaffe there? I think the point is it is ridiculous that they have that many football coaches at Big Red. Makes it quite clear what is most important there. That wasn't DeWine's point as he was just stating fact but that is why QCB mentioned it. -
september63He didnt make a "gaffe" The fact that they have 27 coaches for that team is the problem the OP was referring.

A few are said to be "volunteer" coaches. -
Manhattan Buckeye
Ah, I see. I was wondering how any school could afford that many. We didn't have 27 but we had our share of "volunteers", or the more negative terms were "hang-arounds", "has beens", "never were" or my personal favorite "Woodersons" - a Dazed and Confused reference.killer_ewok;1407291 wrote:A few are said to be "volunteer" coaches. -

OSHI don't know if anyone has read this yet, but it is crazy to think that anyone would side with the perps.
That was part of the arrogance.
Arrogance from the defendants. Arrogance from the friends. Arrogance within the culture.
Arrogance based on the fact that this night, witnesses testified over and over, wasn't strikingly different than any other night in the life of a Big Red football player. -

Dan Wetzel has written some great stuff about this case in the last week. -

You have to figure that anyone in Juvie with them is probably a local, in which case those 2 will be greeted as kings because they were Big Red football players.
As has been clearly demonstrated in that town that takes precedent over anything. -
