But since none of your fantasy ever happened but Lanza's did exactly as I described, any judge in the land would agree with me when I say GFYAH.
But what if the family hid (and locked) the keys from you and you found them and when out without their knowledge? That would be a more accurate comparison.

The owners made it clear that she was a responsible mother and not a partying drunk.

Hey, Stephen Glass, do you just make shit up as you go?
C'mon Naive Nancy...what bartender is ever gonna say one of his regulars is getting sloshed on a frequent basis? This crazy bitch was probably down there almost daily just to get away from Jeffrey Dahmer Jr in the basement for awhile.

Nothing else to see here, folks. Stephen Glass still doesn't have any facts.

I hope they put you in charge of being the prime motivator towards getting the "Nancy Lanza - Loving Mother of all Mentally Challenged Children - Memorial Statue" installed on the village green. I'm sure the victims families will love seeing that everyday they drive by.

Unfortunately, the way Tiernan see things, has become status quo in our country. It's never the offenders fault, the blame is always to be placed on someone or something else.

Oh my Fkn lord...Se-alum - read my posts dumbass...yes i think little mentally challenged Adam is to blame, he went to college, he could drive a car, he knew exactly what he was doing when he walked in that school. But he was an anti-social psycho Fkn weirdo who needed either institutionalized or under constant surveilance at home. And the ones responsible for making sure that happened were his sickening wealthy crazy prepper Mom and absent "cya later" Dad and to a somewhat lesser degree, hipster Manhattan Marty brother. When they completely failed at even the slightest bit to monitor this nightmare of a human being...YES they are to blame. And while Mommy Dearest didnt exactly "deserve" what happened to her, she sure as hell "earned" it.

What the sh*t is wrong with you? That's my first question.

And secondly, the dad left because he and his wife had marital problems and got a divorce. His wife got the house. This is a normal manifestation of divorce cases. So he then moved closer to his job.

The "hispter" son -- again, that's just you throwing out random accusations that are based on nothing other than that the kid moved to Manhattan -- moved out of his mom's house because he went to college and then got a job in New York City. So, rather than catch a two-hour train ride each day to and from work, he moved to Jersey. The mom, who grew up on a farm, had guns for her protection and she also enjoyed the sport of range shooting. Girls who grow up on farms in the country often are into things like guns or hunting. She was not a wacko end-of-the-world "prepper," as you are claiming.

You are out of your realm here. You have no idea what you are talking about. So, you just make things up.

LOL...this can't be serious. So I guess his mother should have never gone to sleep, leaving him unsupervised for the period of time? I don't understand why she didn't just take him and drop him off at the institution?? Oh, maybe it's because you can't just take a 20 year old to the psych ward and drop them off. It's not like he was a menace to society forcing a court order of psychiatric help. The only way she could have him committed was by his own free will or a judge saying he is danger to society, which he wasn't up to that point. If we could have everyone that we thought wasn't quite right in the head committed to the psych ward, we would never be able to house them all.

This. Tiernan, however, does not care about reality. By Tiernan's logic, one of the side effects of Aspergers is being a serial killer.

Any logical person knows she was grossly negligent. It's pretty shocking how many on here are going to great lengths to defend her. Not sure whether it's because they feel the need to defend anyone that owns guns, or they're just annoyed by tiernan(understandable) but it's very weird.

I haven't read every post, but I haven't seen many on here defending the mother? I've seen them defending her right to own a gun, but I haven't seen many say she isn't somewhat responsible. I think most are defending the older brother and father, rightfully so. They tell the authorities that bro/son isn't right, what are they going to do? Nothing. Bro left. Smart move. Dad tried to be in his son's life, but the son wanted nothing to do with him since he divorced his mother. What's dad suppose to do? Force his son to hang out with him? Lemme know how that works out.

I can't comprehend how anyone would not blame the parents considering he was fully dependent on them.

I haven't blamed or not blamed them. There's so much crap being "reported" that I can't tell what's true and what's not.

Who is making up shit now? I've never related Aspergers to being a serial killer and for what its worth Slick...whether your good buddy Adam Lanza was ever actually diagnosed with Aspergers has never been confirmed yet. That gem originally came from one of Mom's drinking pals down at the bar like the next day. As Chris Rock says, "sometimes people are just plain Crazy."

A mom with a mentally ill son who left guns accessible to him - i know where a lot of my blame is going. I blame both parents for not getting him the proper help. As I said before, i really want to know what meds he was prescribed and which ones he was on at the time.

I merely wished you luck. Dial back the butthurt maybe?

Mr. Lanza won't pay a nickel. Take that to the bank, Matlock. He'll probably come out ahead of the game with a book deal.

I'll concede he wasn't right in the head because of what he did, but I'm not positive he was ever diagnosed with anything or how badly he was behaving prior to this happening. I also don't know how secure the guns were, what kind of help they tried to get for him, if he was prescribed any medication or if he was taking the medication he was prescribed.

Unless the book is titled "how to determine your son/brother is a threat to the world" I will be irritated if any of their relatives come out with a book.

This. All I've heard was undiagnosed characteristics offered by people outside of the medical world. Yea, he obviously snapped, but what evidence is there that he was a threat to walk into an elementary school and kill children? A lot of people are making him out to be this lifelong psychopath that you couldn't take your eyes off of or he would do something violent, and I've never seen that proven, at all.

I was being facetious...I doubt anyone will offer him a book deal for real. It's probably as likely as him being required to pay a penny in civil damages.

Yo Recleague...ExtraTV.com reporting Nancy Lanza spent 3 days prior to the tragedy holed up in a New Hampshire casino / resort on a sex romp with her boyfriend. Left 3 days of meals pre-made for little Charlie Manson til she got back. That Mother of the Year statue you've been lobbying so hard for just took a huge hit.
